Hello. Before we start to do any work on this car, we told the customer that we can get a used transmission but there will be no warranty The customer than agreed on the terms and we ordered transmission and installed it into the vehicleWe visually inspected our work and test drove the car Everything was good with our work and there was no missing or loose bolts as customer stated

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because they seem unwilling to resolve anything Sincerely, [redacted] ***

There is nothing I can help you with at this point

When *** brought his car to my shop, everything was in good working condition, but there was check engine lightI scan the code and found that the pedal was the problem. Before replacing the gas acceleration pedal I told him that I can't be a % sure that would solve the problem
because I could not check the part when it is workingSo, based on the history that was stored inside ECM, and *** approval to do the job, we change that part and he picked up his carWhen he brought his car back the second time, there was another check engine code that was related to the throttle body or wiring harness issueI told him that we do not work on wiring harness and he picked up his carThank you

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The vehicle was NOT in good working condition at the time.I have several witnesses including Cozy Corner Towing of which we had called to TOW the vehicle since it was not running correctly at the time to Subaru ClinicOnly after Cozy Corner Towing had said it would be up to several hours to get to it because they were working on accidents & since we were concerned about it being on the side of the road we limped the vehicle to the clinicUpon arrival the mechanic was still there and we spoke with him at that time.Nothing was ever said about the repair was not 100% guaranteed and if that had been said We would never have approved an uncertain/partial repair. As for the return visit it wasn't until they had it for almost a week that they then said that they could not "figure" out the problem & said to come get itWe then picked it up and took it to another shop just down the street that read the same codes and scanned the same system and was able to fix it for us
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: Loss of bolts and incorrect placement of bolts is a labor payment issue, not a warranty of transmission issueThis Revdex.com Complaint is valid on my partIf Subaru Clinic was indeed warranted a Revdex.com rating of A+ at one point in time, the rating should now be lowered considerablyMost businesses would appreciate repeat customers but it is apparent to me this business owner knew I would not be back and therefore thinks he has no reason to do the decent corrective action
