With the most deepest respect we apologize for any incovience we may have createdIn no time was this anything other then a sincere desire to help a customer purchase the car of their wishThe vehicle did sell the night before, we did try to reach out to the customer, but the phone numbers in file
where not validAgain we sincelery apologize for the incomvience

Have contacted customer multiple ***es. Car has been in my shop more than once for repairs and I have also arranged for an outside vendor to come to her to have repairs made. Repair of the factory camera was not promised in deal. She was promised a backup camera. We have
offered to have an aftermarket camera put in and the customer has refused the aftermarket camera. I will contact customer again and make this offer again. Customer was last in to the dealership on 3/28/for attempted repair. From there customer has interacted with an outside vendor of ours and has cancelled appointments. *** ***PARTS & service director PHONE ***FAX ***

Hello, We have come to an agreement with customer everything is good to go now.If you have any question please let me know or reach customer. My service manager and them have squared everything away thanks[redacted]

[redacted] purchased a vehicle from us July 19, 2016. A week later I personally received a phone call from a family member (stated he was her cousin) in Mexico stating that the car would not start. At that point I asked them if there was anyway that they could bring the car into the...

shop so we can have it checked out. They said the car was in a tow yard or parked in an area that they needed to pay or they could not get the car out. I told them that my hands were tied while the car was in Mexico that my tow company can only tow it within the US and that if they could get it to at least the US border I would help them get it towed in from there, I also told them that I would provide [redacted] a loaner car in the meantime while her car was being checked out. During this time what [redacted] wanted was for us to pay a bill for the yard where the car was being held and also pay the Mexican tow company which I could not do. Our warranty is very clear and does not cover such bills especially in another country. I also explained that the car is still under factory warranty for any manufacturer defects or unexpected breakdowns that would fall under the coverage. [redacted] then had the car towed into to our dealership and we subletted out to the Dodge dealer being that the vehicle is under warranty. When Dodge finally did the inspection, they found water in the gas tank.....which most commonly happens when you gas the car in a different county. At that time Dodge declines the warranty because its not something that is covered. We have always returned [redacted] calls and we have done nothing but try to help her. Sincerely, [redacted]General Sales Manager

Tell us why here... We tried every single option we could to obtain financing for this customer. The 553 retail installment contract states very clearly.....under section "Seller's Right To Cancel" both in front and on back of contract......Seller agrees to deliver the vehicle to you on the date...

this contract is signed by Seller and you. You understand that it may take some time for Seller to verify your credit and assign the contract. You agree that if Seller is unable to assign the contract to any one of the financial institutions with whom seller regularly does business under an assignment acceptable to Seller, Seller may cancel the contract. We are in business of selling cars not taking them back, this hurts the dealer in more ways then one, we at no time did this with any intent other then to help the client. On December 8, 2016 we refund clients credit card back the initial $1000 received the same day she returned the vehicle back to dealership. It does take 24 to 48 hours for that refund to get back to clients account and that's business days so sorry if that causes any issues for [redacted], in regards to the $250 which was on a hold we have shredded that credit card slip and will NOT collect on that, as the deal fell through. As a last effort we also did receive a co signor application through our website, but we were unable to make that work either. Again we are very sorry we were unable to make this deal happen for [redacted]. Sincerely Yours [redacted] General Sales Manager.

Please cancel or close this complaint.  Subaru of El Cajon reached out today and settled the matter.  Thanks
