I hired them to fix my heater. The work was done wrong and my heat continued to go out. Each time they would come back stating different issues and needed extra parts which they charge me more money for. The heater was still not operating and they said they didn't care. I attempted to stop payment on my check, but they had cashed it already. They began to refuse my phone calls and eventually blocked my number. I feel that they took advantaged of me because I have chronic arthritis in my hands and my husband is not well. I eventually called another contractor and he stated that they had all the wires in wrong. I was very displeased with Subcool, not only because of the poor quality of the work, but also how they knew they took advantage of me and my situation.

I personally responded to this no heat call. The client was not getting a 24V signal from her thermostat to her oil heater. I discounted a Honeywell T4 Pro from $250 to $150. While there, I showed the client where her oil filter was. It was buried behind a stack of boxes and debris. I offered to do a maintenance service for her. I usually charge $350 for a maintenance, but I only charged her $200 because I empathized with clients living conditions. The maintenance included: oil filter change, nozzle change, soot vac and efficiency test. While doing maintenance I discover client had no oil. I showed client that no oil came out of filter top with oil valve open. Client had oil delivered, the oil company bled burner but a day later burner would not stay lit. I came back and installed a newer Honeywell primary control that diagnosis burner. I was given an open limit error. I left my primary control, which sells for $400 over customers house anticipating returning the next day with the limit. The client repeatedly called me the next day being very rude and aggressive. I informed her that I would be there after I finished my previously scheduled calls, albeit if she needs faster service she was welcomed to have a different service company come out. This client received a thermostat, filter, nozzle, soot vac etc for her $350 and has possession if my primary control that she has not paid for, that I used to diagnose her system.

was contracted to repair my home after a house fire on 04/14/18. There were several issues during the time that he worked for me. First him or someone he hired left my home unsecured which allowed someone to steal my personal belonging from my house. The second incident occurred when someone he hired stole the replacement items that was stolen the first time. Also, the same person also took his tools at or around 07/28/18.On Monday 08/13/18 Mr. wanted the rest of his money I stated that he would get half on Wednesday which would have been 08/15/18 and the difference when the work was completed which I stated should be Friday 08/17/18. This discussion took place over the phone. Mr. cussed me out both over the phone and via texts messages. In addition, some of the threats he made over the phone made me fearful for my safety. One of the final text I received from Mr. stated he was pulling the workmen off the job and would not be completing the job until he got seven thousand dollars. He also said he would hold off on calling the inspector. Mr. stated he was unavailable for the rest of the week and would not be available until next week. To date, he has never returned to the job site. As a business person, it is ok to disagreement but disrespects a customer like he did he should not be in this business. Mr. was paid more than 45000 between what I gave him and what my mortgage company gave him . I would like to understand what more is he seeking since he walked off the job site before completing the work. As a result I have to find someone else to complete the work please assist me in this dispute and settling this once and for all.
