Suburban Energy Reviews (2)

Review: I have been trying for several months to get Suburban to pick up their propane tank from my yard. I have spoken to them 4 times. Other than the 2 phone calls today, the latest was on Saturday May 16, 7:06 pm. I asked that they send someone within 10 days to get the tank from my yard. I was told that would not be a problem and someone would be in contact with me this last week. Here it is Friday, and not one person has tried to contact me. I called again today to see where we were on the schedule and I was told we weren't even on the schedule and they could put us in for June 4th pickup. The problem is we have some construction that we need to do in the area the tank is sitting and need it moved sooner. I have called the local service station and the call center and am getting no where. This has been going on since December 2014. I just want to talk to someone that can make things happen.Desired Settlement: I just want the tank picked up as soon as possible. I cannot wait until June 4th to have it out of my yard. I have explained that it is sitting next to the drive and in a dangerous spot, but they don't care. If not, I will be making up an invoice for storage of the tank, back to the date of original request to have it removed.

Review: I was a Suburban Propane customer for several years and was overall satisfied with their service. I had a recent disagreement with Suburban over the fact that they disconnected my service even though the bill was paid in full. When I called to discuss the problem I was told I would have to pay a re-connection fee. I made it clear that I would not want to pay a re-connect fee. After speaking with [redacted] for over 45 mins about my refusal to pay BS fee's and it seemed that I had no other option I decided to cancel my service. I spoke with clarity and asked several times if there were any fee's to disconnect service and was told by [redacted] that I would not be charged a fee. I was unhappy to leave Suburban as I still needed the service they provide and would now have to shop for a new provider. BUT I did not want to pay any BS fee's. The fee for re-connect was $75. Well imagine my surprise when I opened my next bill expecting to see a full refund for the propane in my tank, I instead saw a bill for a BS FEE amounting to more than the re-connect fee. I was furious and called Suburban Propane to speak with [redacted] and after I asked to speak to her supervisor I was disconnected. I called back and [redacted] told me a supervisor would call me ASAP that was over 2 weeks ago. Please HELPDesired Settlement: I want a refund of FEE'S
