[redacted] has stated that his complaint involves a "product issue." The product that [redacted] desired was "Blackwood" by [redacted] SMG did not have any samples of this [redacted] product for them so the Hercus' contacted [redacted] directly [redacted] provided them with samples of their selectionsOn each [redacted] sample, it states the following: Samples are small cuts from a slab: they do not exhibit all the characteristics of a color and therefore are not fully representative of what will be installed in your home [redacted] is pure natural quartzVariations in the natural stone (quartz) color, pattern, size, shape, and shade are inherent and unique characteristics to be expected with this productThis does not affect the product performance in any mannerYour counter top will not be replaced due to these variations On Nov 26th **& [redacted] stopped back in SMG and signed the contract with SuburbanSMG installed their new countertops in the stone they selected from [redacted] on December 15thWe received an email from [redacted] on the day of install of how beautiful the countertops lookIt was approxa hour later when [redacted] called saying the [redacted] stone had, in his opinion, imperfections [redacted] and SMG met at the [redacted] ’s house on 12-23-at 1:pm [redacted] filled a few natural variations in the stone on the perimeters and was moving on the island but [redacted] would not allow itHe would not let [redacted] finish the job [redacted] warranties their product and found nothing wrong with the product [redacted] has relayed to SMG that their stone is a natural product, and that there is no material defects in this product or its manufacturingAny replacements of this stone would likely cause the same complaint of the [redacted] product from [redacted] SMG warranties our fabrication and installationThere is NOTHING in this complaint about the fabrication or the installation by SMGSMG stands by the superior salespersons performance, and by our superior fabrication and installationSadly, this complaint is wrongheaded and misplaced
