We completed the Patio and left the customers home, customer was very happy of the finished product, hours later a storm with Hail damaged the patioI don't believe we are at fault for that since we were not aware of any storms coming in that dayNobody was actually it took everyone by surprise

On April 4, 2016 a trap was set at the customer's home, per his request, for a skunk problem he was experiencing. As keeping with our company policy, I went over the conditions printed on our service report. It reads as follows: NYS TRAPPING LAWS requires us to inspect or check our traps every day....

(24 hours.l To defray the daily inspection fee of $75.00 + tax, we ask you the customer, to check our traps daily and to notify us immediately of any (the target pest or not] is caught or the trap is sprung. I also explained that when something is caught, by NYS law, it will be relocated and another trap will be set at a reduced cost if the customer wishes to continue the trapping service. The customer stated he understood the conditions and signed the service ticket directly under the notification. I then set a trap. I returned to the home on April 5, 2016 and noticed activity on the side of the house and moved the trap to that area. On April 12, 2016 we received a call informing us there was something in the trap. At 10:30 am I was on location to retrieve our trap and the animal. I found the trap opened, bait eaten and feces in the trap. The trap was obviously opened by someone who was not familiar with the apparatus because it was opened the wrong way. As a courtesy, I rebaited and reset the trap at no charge. I did not say they broke the law. I did tell them and wrote on the service report- they are not to open my trap or release any animals. I also wrote on the service report I would be back in 3 days unless I heard from them. I took pictures of the trap inside and out. On the trap is a tag, which is required by law, does not only contain my personal cell phone number but also the telephone number to our office. I did not receive a call concerning a trapped animal nor was there a message on the answering machine in the office the next day. Had we been contacted, I would have responded and transported the animal as that is what we are contracted to do. I am willing to produce my cell phone records if needed. On April 13, 2016 another call came into the office and I responded the same day at 2:53 pm. When I arrived the trap again, had been opened, the bait eaten and the door was opened wrong. I did notice there were no feces in the trap. I took pictures and I removed the trap from the premises. As for deception, it is my experience, when a "non target pest" is caught in the trap a customer feels they can release it so they do not have to pay for us to come out, remove, transport and set another trap as what we are contracted to do. Some will even request a refund. I have enclosed a copy of the service reports that were filled out as the service was performed. In conclusion, we at Suburban Pest Control, Inc. have performed our work as contracted and do not feel there was any deception on our part and therefore will not be refunding any monies. Chester S.
