I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I still find a $70 cancellation fee to be exorbitant. Emergency situations do arise wherein a 24 hour cancellation is not possible. Also, rescheduling an appointment is different than canceling an appointment.

Our office policy requires a 24 hour notice of cancelled or rescheduled appointments. Ms. [redacted] was aware of this policy and that there would be a charge when she first began treatment at out practice. Her appointment was at 4:15 pm and she rescheduled at 8:10am, which is less than 24...
hours. Her provider has agreed to adjust off the charge.
