I am hideously offended that this company is still allowed to operate with the incompetence shown before meI would have been able to realize their atrocious mistake earlier if it were not for the fact that I have a credible job that requires a lot of my time and have a limited schedule to conduct tasks such as spending a lovely hour at the DMV only to find out that I am being forced to pay sales tax once again for the vehicle in questionI would not have even thought twice about purchasing this vehicle if sales tax was a separate charge as I was seeking an all-inclusive priceI was taken advantage of because I had never before purchased a vehicle at a dealership and will never be doing so again for the rest of my life as apparently the only reason they exist is to scam honest people out of moneyHad I would have noticed the obvious mistake on their behalf sooner I would have demanded a full refund and taken my business else where, but then again I was not expecting to be taken advantage of so grievouslyI will not let this matter rest until I am refunded the amount I am due Regards, [redacted] ***

I am writing in response to a complaint filed by [redacted] ***On or about OCT Ms [redacted] came to us looking for a vehicleAfter test driving and inspecting our vehicle she began to negotiate a price on this vehicleWe went back and forth on the terms of the sale several timesWe finally landed on a price of $7,She was informed several times the she would be mailed all of the paperwork required to pay her taxes and other DMV fees at her local DMVIn addition to being told several times that she would have to go to her local DMV, she also signed her bill of sale stating that she had not yet paid her sales tax and DMV feesNo where on our bill of sale was that listedDuring the purchase I also told Ms [redacted] that she had up to days to go to the DMV to pay her fees and get her title and registrationShe called me days after the sale to discuss thisDuring this phone call Ms [redacted] was very irateShe was cussing and making various threatsIt was impossible to have a rational conversation with herI feel Ms [redacted] may have been confused due to the negotiationBut the terms of the sale were clearly laid out and the bill of sale which she signed was very clear in the fact that she had not yet paid taxes and would have to do so to obtain her title, tags and registrationIn her complaint to you she mentions that she is sure we have cheated other peopleI find this very offensive and slanderousWe have been in business for nearly decades and have never had this issue.Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns [redacted] General ManagerCity Motors Co, llc

After test driving and inspecting our vehicle she began to negotiate a price on this vehicle. We went back and forth on the terms of the sale several times. We finally...

landed on a price of $7,300. She was informed several times the she would be mailed all of the paperwork required to pay her taxes and other DMV fees at her local DMV. In addition to being told several times that she would have to go to her local DMV, she also signed her bill of sale stating that she had not yet paid her sales tax and DMV fees. No where on our bill of sale was that listed. During the purchase I also told Ms [redacted] that she had up to 30 days to go to the DMV to pay her fees and get her title and registration. She called me 22 days after the sale to discuss this. During this phone call Ms [redacted] was very irate. She was cussing and making various threats. It was impossible to have a rational conversation with her. I feel Ms [redacted] may have been confused due to the negotiation. But the terms of the sale were clearly laid out and the bill of sale which she signed was very clear in the fact that she had not yet paid taxes and would have to do so to obtain her title, tags and registration.
