Houde Mechanical negligently installed a PVC boiler exhaust vent in a new home we builtThe work was performed in 2016but the damage done not discovered until May, Houde failed to prime and glue (or improperly primed and glued) a PVC elbow joint in the exhaust vent, and as a result the exhaust vent is not watertightWater from the leaking elbow joint has soaked the insulation and the walls beneath it, ruining the insulation and the walls and causing moldSignificantly, Houde Mechanical also intentionally attempted to conceal this negligently installed elbow joint, by putting silicone around the bottom of the jointA properly primed and glued PVC joint chemically welds two pieces of PVC together, making the joint as watertight as a straight run of PVC pipeIf the elbow joint had been primed and glued properly, there would have been no reason to apply silicone to that jointThe fact that the silicone is there means that Houde knew that the joint was improper, and could leak, which it of course didIn addition, Houde Mechanical failed to follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation of the boiler that Houde Mechanical recommended we purchaseThough the instructions require that the system be vented with two separate exhaust and intake vent pipes, above the leaking elbow joint Houde joined the two into one coaxial pipe before it exits the structureFinally, Houde Mechanical has completely ignored calls, texts, emails and a hard copy letter sent by mail and certified mail informing Houde of the leaking boiler exhaust vent and the damages Houde has causedThis list is not exclusive and we reserve the right to alter or amend it after further consulting with experts

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.CAR TOYZ needs to take some sort of responsibility for this mishap, they offered to do nothing the make this situation rightI believe the wax came out to hot and messed up my paint in those spots, I am not blaming the chemicalsMy car is a brand new so again there was nothing wrong with the paint prior to me taking it to CAR TOYZI would have noticed because I always look at my cars to make sure they are in good shape.

These statements are completely false.  Our Lava Wax is 100% Carnauba wax and all of our chemicals are Biodegradable.  All of our chemicals come from the largest chemical manufacturer in the country with very stringent quality guidelines.  We wash over 10,000 cars per month and have...

been open since 2005.  This is the very first time in 10 years I have had a customer say that our chemicals ruined his paint job.  These are the facts.  I looked at the spots he is describing and is looks like one of them is a touch up spot that was buffed out and is now lifting up and the other looks similar.   I think if he took it to a body shop or back to Toyota they would all agree with me.  I am not saying that the customer is lying.  I agree his clear coat has two spots that look like they are cover ups and this may be the first time he has noticed them.  It is easier to see flaws when you car is clean.  Also Keep in mind I own a black Chevy truck and my wife owns a black Toyota and both of us wash our cars EVERYDAY with the LAVA wash.  Keep in mind we have not had anything but positive feed back on the LAVA wash since we started it in 2012.  Keep in mind this is a VERY high end tunnel system and if it ever was to fail it would do it to all the cars in a repetitive nature.  ThanksManagement

Review: I am writing this letter regarding discrimination I received from an employee of Subway restaurant at [redacted] in [redacted], Virginia [redacted] on July 7, 2014. I was discriminated and retaliated against when on July 7, 2014, at 7:32 am, I walked into a Subway restaurant to purchase a sandwich and immediately upon entering Subway to place my order, I was accused by a female Subway employee of not paying her for a sandwich she said she had given me on my last visit. Moreover, the female employee stated that she had gotten in trouble with her manager for giving me the sandwich. I immediately responded to the employee and asked her how much I owed. The employee stated that I owed her $6.00. I told the employee that I would pay her immediately, but I would have to retrieve cash at the nearby [redacted] a few doors down and that I would be right back. As I started to leave Subway, she replied, I see that you are angry, I dont want your money, just get out. Stunned, I then walked out of the Subway restaurant to [redacted] to retrieve $10.00 in cash. Five minutes later, I returned to Subway with $10.00 cash in hand to give to the employee and asked to see her manager. The employee replied, Im the manager, now get out. I told the employee that I would like to place my order, and the employee replied, get out and I dont want your money. I then proceeded to place a $10.00 bill on the table at the Subway register and walked out of the restaurant. Shocked, that I was refused service and that the employee refused my money, I headed home and realized that I did not get the employees name because she did not wear a nametag. At 8:15am that morning, my husband walked into Subway to obtain the name of the employee so that I could file a complaint. According to my husband, he spoke to the female employee regarding my incident, he indicated to the employee that he was my husband, and proceeded to ask her name. The employee refused to tell him her name and told him to come back at 10am later that morning to talk to the manager. The circumstances leading up to this treatment is as follows. About a month prior to this incident, I was at the same Subway restaurant in [redacted] trying to purchase a sandwich at the register using their ATM transaction feature when the same employee from the July 7th incident tried to ring up my purchase. After about five minutes of the employee trying to ring up my purchase, she indicated to me that the ATM feature was not working. I then asked the employee to hold my sandwich while I retrieved cash from the nearby [redacted]. Immediately, the employee looks over at the steadily increasing line of people waiting to order, pushed the sandwich towards me, and states to me, no, you can have the sandwich. I then replied, thank you very much and vowed to return to Subway because I thought the employee had given me great customer service due to my long wait in line, and the fact that there was no posted sign on the Subway premises indicating that the ATM was broken. I have been a resident of [redacted] City for five years and I have never encountered such appalling treatment.Desired Settlement: I need an apology and the employee to be transferred to another store outside of my neighborhood.
