Your monthly draft amount was $18.94, however your account has been drafting in arrears instead of in advance.  Your draft is scheduled for the 5th of each month.  Sometimes we run the process earlier if the 5th falls on a weekend.  In this case the process did run on the 5th, but your subscription had already stopped.  Because your account was already in arrears, it stopped automatically after the "grace period" ended. 
The $47.48 is for the amount in arrears of $28.54 plus the $18.94.  
The agent should have explained that your last draft on 9/2/16 was for 7/24 to 8/23.  Delivery continued until 10/4. 
I am sorry that you have decided to cancel and do hope that you will return as a subscriber in the future.  Because you have been a long-time customer, I will go ahead and refund the full $47.48.  I will credit your subscription today and get the refund to you as soon as possible.
