Review: I am writing this complaint in regards to Salon by Sucre in New Orleans, LA. A party of 20 people including myself visited this business on 1/31/16 for a business dinner. The restaurant was aware that we had a large party and created a separate menu for us to accommodate the large group. We arrived at 7:30pm and were seated immediately. Shortly after we all placed our order approximately around 8:00pm. We then waited for 2 hours to receive our first course. After this we asked how much longer it would take to get our entrees since we knew something was obviously wrong. Our waiter told us that it was taking so long because of how large our group was. I can understand having a large group can have an affect on time, but we then waited an additional hour and half for our entrees. Not once were we made aware that it would take this long or even a simple apology for the wait. After we made it clear that we were upset about the wait the staff at Salon by Sucre were extremely rude and unprofessional. One server was slamming plates on the table when people started realizing their entrees were incorrect. He then also continued to roll his eyes at us and sighed in a manner of being annoyed with our party. The manager was no where to be seen while this was all happening and we eventually had to confront her in the restroom about the situation. She was not concerned at all with the service we were given and could frankly care less. She was extremely unprofessional and told us she was only apologizing to our group "because we asked her to." Not only were we treated poorly but the food was not even what the menu described. Dishes were missing ingredients, portions of food were smaller then we were told they would be. Overall this "establishment" is extremely unprofessional and needs to be reprimanded in some way to understand the severity of treating their guests horribly. None of the staff took ownership for the issues and complaints received on this date.Desired Settlement: No one in our party was satisfied with the experience and the restaurant added a gratuity against our will after making it clear that this was not okay with our party. A full refund should be given to each individual for the service we were given at this establishment.
