Sudzees Laundry

Review: Sudzee's Laundry claims to answer their phone number's answering machine 2-3 times a day and to get back as soon as possible. They don't. Their change machine ate $5 and I left a note on the machine with my contact information so that I could be reimbursed for my losses. Did not get a response. Left another message, then called what was apparently the owners cell phone (did not know it was the owner's cell, it was listed as an emergency contact). She answered, and immediately began lecturing me as if I were a kid on how to behave. She made no effort to reimburse me or schedule a meeting point where I could get reimbursed. She began raising her voice at me over the phone (much like an ill-behaved child), ordered me to leave a message with my address at their business' phone number, and hung up without resolving the issue at hand.Considering I am tight on money, $5 means alot, and not being able to do laundry during the times I have available to me means I don't have clean clothes for work. This is the situation I am facing this week. I am requesting that Sudzees deliver the $5 their machine took from me to my home address in a timely and appropriate manner.In addition to this, their machines smell bad and look filthy.Desired Settlement: $5 was taken from me by their machine on Sunday, October 19, 2014 around 2:00 A.M. This matter would be resolved if I got my money back in a timely and appropriate manner.Also, I recommend the business accurately describe how soon they will get back to complaints left on their voice mail.Furthermore, the person who runs their change machines should take better care of and ensure that machines are stocked with change. If there is no change, the bill should be fed back to the customer.

Mr. [redacted], in his statement, seems to leave out that he stuffed a very rude and demeaning message in the bill feeder of my change machine at 2:19 a.m. on October 19, 2014, which may have caused serious damage had I not been able to completely pull it out of my machine - copy of which is attached. In addition, he also fails to mention that I tried to explain to him when he called my EMERGENCY NUMBER, which is very clearly stated on SudZees Message phone that this phone is not to be used unless there is an emergency. He was so rude and abrasive that I could not get a word in edgewise. My change machine is used so much that sometimes it acts up and eats the money. When I receive a notice that the change machine has done so, I look over the footage from the cameras to make sure the complaint is indeed legitimate and contact the customer. I do so willingly and cooperatively when I am treated and talked to with respect, as I treat my customers as well. I was in the process of reviewing the footage when Mr. [redacted] calls on my EMERGENCY Phone and immediately starts yelling at me and pretty much threatens me. I try to interrupt him to tell him how I operate, also try to emphasize to him that I do not appreciate the disrespect and extreme rudeness he has given me. He would not stop yelling at me, so I told him I would be reimbursing him as soon as I finished looking at the footage and to please call SudZees message number to leave his address where I could send his $, as I do with other customers who have had this issue with the change machine. He would not stop yelling at me so I told him I did not want to talk to him anymore and hung up. He then called me back on my EMERGENCY number, showing he has no regard for instructions or requests, left his address and threatened me. I still have the voice mail. I do recommend that if Mr. [redacted] isn't happy with my establishment, that he find another place to clean his clothes. I run my establishment very well and maintain my machines regularly. I have been in business for a very long time and know how to treat my customers and my customers know fully well that if we treat each other with mutual respect, everyone gets along. I will be notifying the police department that he may be a potential problem.
