Revdex.com: Discount transmissions has made no effort to contact me, and quite frankly their response just received by me here is inaccurateAs stated before in my original complaintThey replaced a part that was not neededThe car was not repaired when I left their shopI had to take it somewhere else to a Nissan Dealer to get it repairedDiscount Transmission replaced the alternator, the alternator was not the problemIt was a part on the wiring harness The car in fact quit on the way home and I contacted Discount Transmission and they told me to bring it back, which I did and then they contacted me to tell me they couldn't fix itI was told by the manager [redacted] that it was "beyond their capabilities." and I would need to take it somewhere else I have a witness to all of this I do feel that I am entitled to at leas a partial refund as I was out money unnecessarily for parts that were not necessary and also without a car for over a weekIf it was the alternator then why was it not fixed?? Why did it have to go back to Discount Transmission 2x and then have to be towed to a Nissan Dealer where it was repaired and works fine!!!I meant it is pretty obvious that it wasn't the right part when the car broke down more times and then after leaving Jeff Wyler Nissan it runs fineDiscount Transmission sadly just took my money and didn't try to fix the problemThat is dishonest! Regards, [redacted]

If you have any further questions please call *** at *** *** contacted Discounted Transmissions in regards to her alternatorWe advised her thather car was not charging and the cost wold be $and she OKed us to do the repairWe also told her had another issue with
electical and needed to take it to the dealerWe don't do electrical workThe dealer told her what that issue was and made the repairThey also told her that the alternate wasn't bad but wa after it had already been repairedShe had issues going on with the car

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response is not accurate. I was told by Discount Transmission they never tested it via computer to initially see what the problem was. They only assumed it was the alternator. I was not advised that it was not diagnosed via computer until the repairs were already made. One assumes that when you have a problem that your car is diagnosed to see what the issue is and not just random guess or repairs made. that is comparable to going to the [redacted] with an issue and them not running tests or evaluations and just doing a procedure that may not be correct. I was told by the Nissan Dealer in fact the alternator was not bad and that was never the issue, and there was not two issues it was one electrical issue that I had to take somewhere else to fix after Discount Transmission told me not to bring it back it was beyond their capabilities. When Discount Transmissions called me to pick up my car after the initial repair the same issue happened on the way home, when I contacted them back immediately they told me to bring it back in when I did they told me they had no idea how to fix it and to not bring it back. I feel like I deserve a refund or at least partial refund as my car had a part put on it that it didn't need and the issue was not fixed.  I paid Discount Transmission 550.00 for a repair that was not made and then had to take it to another dealer to fix it and it costs me $425.00.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Contacting the Revdex.com was my first step, I think the arbitration/mediation is an excellent idea, I have no problem fling a small claims case against them.
