Due to human error, we erroneously billed this gentleman's insurance instead of a patient with a very similar nameAs soon as we became aware of this situation, we corrected itIt was never done intentionallyThis office never intentionally bills fraudulently nor do we intend to ever mistreat a
patientWhen we make a mistake, we correct itWe have no interest in harassing anyoneIf he wants to be seen by another practice, that is his choiceIf he had asked to speak to me, the office manager, I would have dealt with itBeing rude to a patient is not acceptable and the staff member in question will be spoken toI do not know why appointments were scheduled under the wrong patient's name multiple times, it was obviously a mistakePeople make mistakes, for which I apologizeI have "archived" his account, limiting access to it, so that this will not happen againAll of our doctors and staff strive to give our patients the best care possible and with respectIt is not often that we receive complaints, and when we do, we deal with itI apologize for any inconvenience

Did they remove the charge from my medical insurance company? Where is the proof showing they reversed the charge from my medical insurance?

I have contacted [redacted]'s insurer, Tricare, and explained the error.  They are sending me a request for refund.  We will gladly send the refund at that time.  We are not disputing the fact that we made a mistake.  The correct patient's insurance has been billed.
