we first took a tour in late and it was incrediblemy now husband my son and I all went on the mintour and my son even pet the horse (his first time being around a horse) and has loved them since the tour was educational and fun for us all we enjoyed our experience so much that when my husband and I got married on Janwe hired them for our wedding and they came to us and did a wonderful job for a great price definitely a good company to go through I would recommend them over and over

I had a wonderful time sightseeing with Sugar Creek Carriages in NashvilleThe customer service was impeccableBob was our driver and he could not have been nicer!

We got a 20 minute ride when we paid for 45 minutes. The driver was almost 10 minutes late because of Nashville traffic. Some of the roads we were suppose to go down were closed due to the hockey game - so we had to go around. 20 minutes into our ride the carriage broke, We were stuck on the side of the road for half hour if not more.If it wasn't for my husband and brother we would have been there longer. It took 2 people ( employees of Sugar Creek- driver that brought replacement bolt and the driver to control the horse and calm him down). The driver offered $40 for help fixing the carriage. We called them this afternoon and they refused to give us any refund at all. Saying we had our 45 minute ride and the driver offered us "a 40 refund". Instead of any refund at all they said we can have a 20 minute ride free. My family is going back home today. They ruined the carriage ride for us.
~~ Don't waste your money, I wouldn't do this again for the price we paid.

My family recently rode on a carriage from Sugar Creek Carriages and toured the downtown Nashville area. The 5 of us rode in one of their smaller carriages. They had 2 larger carriages, but they were both out on rides at the time. We still had plenty of space. In fact, it was a little cool that evening, but the driver had blankets for us and all snuggled together and were quite comfortable.
The downtown ride was so different than driving or even walking in the area. We were able to get all kinds of photos that we would not have been able to get other than in a carriage. Photographer's dream of the Nashville nightlife. From the busy Broadway action to the side streets where you are surrounded with giant buildings, or the riverfront area with the historic bridges in the background, it was all wonderful.
The driver offered us historical information as well as info on some of the more modern buildings that we went by or were able to see.
We saw other carriage companies in the same area where we got on and off, but the horses of Sugar Creek looks so much larger and healthier that others. They were all much taller than us and looked like they had not missed any meals.
Since part of our group is from Alabama, I'm not sure when we will all be able to get together to do this again, but I definitely will! Such a wonderful experience and the only way to see downtown.
