The plumbing supply house was closed at 7pm He did return in the morning, knocked and with no answer, he used the main key for access Upon completion of water heater, it started to pour down rain outside and water started to seep through the wall He and another maintenance member, trenched the outside of the building and found where the downspouts that tied in underground had broken A contractor was contacted and new drains are being installed Our carpet cleaning vendor was out to do an extraction and placed a carpet fan and dehumidifier in home The resident came in the next day and asked to be moved to a new home and I explained that I did not have a home, that day, for them to move to and that the water was contained to one room and area She told me that they had felt wet carpet a week before but didn't report it or check it out I told her that the water problems had been fixed and that it would be about a week before we completed the drywall and trim work because we would need to ensure that everything was completely dry before repainting We ensure the dryness to eliminate the possibility of sealing in moisture in walls And now they have limited us to only entering when they are home and once we have called them I have tried to reach them and it took several calls to reach them to allow us to remove the fan and dehumidifier that we rented for this situation With the amount of rain and the saturation of the ground, ALL projects have been delayed by vendors/contractors
