Review: SuitSupply in DC advertised clothing at a price, let's use [x] for that price. Upon checkout, price [x] was increased nearly 50%. When asked why the price increase (compared to the correctly labeled item) it was noted that the tag was in fact correct, but labeled in Euros instead of US dollars. The tag did not have any kind of symbol to identify the currency, just an integer. After checking the conversion from Euros to USD, the rate is ~37% (1 euro is roughly $1.37 usd). Not only did SuitSupply lie about the price, they lied about the conversion rate from USD to Euros (markup was 62%). SuitSupply is aware of this tactic and uses it for their benefit. For example, a tie is marked as 29.00 - at checkout the customer is charged $47.00USD, even though the conversion of 29.00 euros to USD would bring the total to $39.74USD - still leaving $7.00USD on the table. SuitSupply is lying about the price of items, twice, to confuse customers.Desired Settlement: I want all price tags in the store changed immediately to reflect an items true price in US dollars, as they should be. I also demand $16.85 USD from SuitSupply to be paid back to me. This price is calculated by 47.59(the price I was charged) - 29.00*1.06 (the price advertised multiplied by the sales tax in DC).
