The customer [redacted] brought her vehicle into our service center with 3 complaints plus 2 recalls to complete.
1 complaint was for the air conditioning not working and making a noise. We could not identify any irregular noises but did find the compressor was 1.1 lbs low on Freon....

The A/C compressor wascharged to proper level dyewas added to the system and pressure tested. No leaks could be found, system will have to be black lighted at 1000 miles. This repair was $9935 plus tax and supplies.2nd complaint was for an exhaust noise. The resonator gasket was blown out and needed to bereplaced. The gasket was replaced and corrected the issue. The cost of this repair was $77.53 plus tax and supplies.& The 3rdcomplaint was for a popping noise in the power steering when turning hard. The axle shaftwas found faulty and needed replaced. The axle shaft was replaced under the customers extended warranty. The customer had a $100 deductible.5. All repairs were mechanical in nature and on the outside of the vehicle. The traction control light ison for the Steering position angle sensor, Code C0710 was set in the DIC for the sensor circuit. Thesteering angle sensor is located on the steering column on the inside of the vehicle and is anelectrical component. No repairs or work was done on the steering column and the sensor is just internally faulted.5. We don't believe we owe this customer any goodwill repairs at this time. Kenneth L.
