Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below I wanted to do a rebuttal but I didn't have time I do not accept the response regarding complaint #*** On August 6,my wife [redacted] and I paid [redacted] of Sullivan builders/pools the sum of $1,for a pool liner he was supposed to install during the month of September, He said he needed the money from us now so he could order the liner from the [redacted] ,N.YWarehouse whom he said he does business withWe paid him with a check, and we haven't seen him sinceAfter many dozens of failed attempts to reach [redacted] from the phone number left on his business card ,police were called in to investigate the matterThey then tried and failed to reach him after leaving several messages on his answering machine.Next, the police checked out the reference [redacted] left with us only to find that he never worked for [redacted] *** We are demanding our money back in full, plus court cost fees, paperwork fees, all with interest Regards, [redacted]

I was referred to [redacted] by a mutual friend of [redacted]'s, who I have known and have done several successful jobs totaling over $20,000 for over 25 years. when my associate and my son went to measure and estimate mr [redacted]'s pool liner it was stated to us , by [redacted] and his wife, that he didn't want...

it ,the liner,  installed until mid to late October. I stated to [redacted] and his wife that it would be better to do it sooner as installing a liner so late in the season was risky because weather is unpredictable in October. I then asked [redacted] if it could be done in the following spring in 2017 if weather did not cooperate. [redacted] said it was fine but would rather it done in the fall of 2016 ,but if weathe is a problem and it is to cold to install it then spring would be fine. so he asked if I needed a deposit to order the liner I said yes , he wrote me a check I gave him a receipt for it and said we'll see you in October, weather permitting. Then when October came and as I knew it would be, it was too cold, there just wasn't a big enough weather window to install the liner, so I called [redacted] to let him know I would be there in the spring and later I learned he was frantically calling everyone from the police to my friends to the fbi to get me to come install it then. I told him that i'm sorry but I just couldn't risk spending $1600. on a liner and having to eat the cost of it if it ripped or didnt stretch to from the pool bottom and walls and that I would be there first thing early spring to install it. he said that was fine,but he asked if I could drop the liner off to him I stated it was still on order and sitting in the warehouse safe from animals( mice ,squirells etc). so I told him I would rather not risk leaving it as I am still responsible for it until it is installed and that if I did drop it off to him when it arrived I would not install it for him. so I said I will not do that and reassured him once again how long ive been in business with no complaints of ripping people off and cliff would not have referred me if that were at all true and to please trust me and that he has a receipt and my name my address and telephone, and tons of references to call and verify,locally and distant. then I hear from our mutual friend he wants his money back. I previously told him the liner was ordered and in process of shipping and that I couldn't refund his money and I would be there in the spring, and as of this date 11/17/2016 still plan to do so.so I don"t know what else I can say or do.
