implied warrantyI am attaching copies of all of the forms they signed or initialed regarding the lack of any warranty on this vehicle*** did call and told me that the check engine light had come onI let her know that she could take the car to O'Reilly or Auto Zone parts stores and they could scan the car for freeThese scans do not require an appointment and she could have taken the car to those stores at any timeApparently, she did not follow this course of action and subsequently had a fire that caused more damage to the vehicle*** did call on 3/14/16,very upset, using rude and vulgar languageShe told me that the car engine had blown up, had a hole and had caught fire and that we had to pay for the damageI explained that the car was sold "as is" with no warranty of any kind but that we would get her our discounts on any parts and labor to help her outI also contacted her father, ***, and explained to him that we could only help with discounts on parts and labor but that we weren't responsible for the damageI asked him to help explain this to her because she was difficult to talk toI did call to get estimates with a mechanic we work with in Lynnwood for an engine replacement although I didn't know exactly what was wrong with the car. I tried to call *** and *** back with this information but there was no answer from either one
