Complaint1996 [redacted] brought in as No start. Sullivan was to Repair for [redacted] didn't complete repair made situation worse faulty wired.still no start .1996 [redacted] brought in as No start. Sullivan was to Repair for [redacted] didn't complete repair made situation worse faulty wired by there mechanic.still no start date towed to Sullivan Tire [redacted] also retowed [redacted] for same issue.They said issue was fixed and it wasnot ,so I ordered new tires x2 and change of fluids ...This is about a [redacted] 2006 [redacted]XXXXXXX work order #XXXXXXinvoice #XXXXX /time [redacted] /Ma plate [redacted] Customer ID XXXXXXXXXX /Sales Rep [redacted] head [redacted] of Sullivan Tire. [redacted] XXXXX payed [redacted] cash on [redacted]Desired SettlementI wish sullivan to pay back [redacted] so I can repair the real problem ,by a different mechanic, which is how much it will cost to repair, estimatedBusiness Response Car was towed to Sullivan Tire on [redacted] as a "no start". We were unable to duplicate concern. Customer asked us to do "maintenance items" which included: (2) tires, battery, alignment, transmission, power steering, and coolant flushes, along with wiper blades totaling [redacted] Customer drove car away. Two days later the vehicle was towed back in as a no-start. Our technician found the under hood fuse block to be "full of corrosion". He spent approximately two hours at "no charge" repairing the wiring to (3) relays. The car started and drove without fault. We recommended the customer replace the under hood fuse box to ensure the issue would be resolved. Sullivan Tire and Auto Service feels bad about the situation, but not responsible. If [redacted] would like, we would certainly be willing to work with him assuming the issue is still occurring. If it has been resolved we would like to see a copy of his repair bill and do our best to work with him.Ps. Please bear in mind the vehicle in question is a "96" [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The response is full of untruths. There was no front end alignment done. The car is an 2006 not 1996. I asked them to fix the fuse box because they missed it. They knew I had a set amount of money to spend and that is why I spent the money on other things that were not as important. They refused to fix their oversight and took all the fuses out of the fuse block and placed them directly on the wire harness loosely so the connections were loose. This is a faulty response that you have received and very deceptive. Why would I ever allow them to touch the car again since they created such a problem in the first place? I have had another mechanic look at it and they agree this was done out of poor workmanship. They made no attempt to repair the issue they created at Sullivan's. When the wire harness is fixed I would want them to cover the cost in full. We clicked on the wrong box for year of vehicle. Second, Sullivan Tire would like to work with Mr. [redacted] and ask him to show us the estimate from his mechanic that evaluated our work so we can assess what was done and not done.
