To whom it may concern: My complaints against Sullivan's Metropolitan grill do have meritThe facts are that my guests and I had our chairs taken away from us around pm not If they had an hour to clean up then my guest belongings should not have moved from where they placed them so this staff could clean up earlyThe only reason that there are credit card transactions after 9pm was because my guest were aloud to close their tabs but where not aloud to purchase new drinksThe bartender was openly upset that he was not aloud to breakdown earlyIt was embarrassing to see most of the supplies and staff leave at ten from the event space with the remaining guestThey were not supposed to breakdown with us in the roomI am not the bridezilla that they are trying to make me out to be and my guest submitted statements are first hand accounts of the eveningI am merely requesting compensation for the early breakdown and drink refusal not reimbursement for the entire eveningThank you, [redacted]

On this particular occasion, we rented the [redacted] Center out of business capital in the amount of $1,200. My business took a loss on the wedding because I felt it was the right thing to do.
The harder I tried to please Mrs. [redacted], the more difficult she became. We went above and beyond on this particular occasion to satisfy her. Sullivan’s was contracted by [redacted] to provide goods and services at her May 25, 2014 wedding reception. Attached you will find the signed contract as well as the signed credit card receipt for the balance on the wedding reception. Sullivan’s provided all goods and services as stated in the contract. On April 16, 2014 Sullivan’s learned that the date Mrs. [redacted] requested had been entered in the system incorrectly when she made a $500.00 deposit. At that time she was given the opportunity to take a refund of the $500.00 and use a different venue and caterer. At that time she agreed to progress forward with Sullivan’s as the caterer for the event. Sullivan’s at that time contracted the [redacted] Center for the wedding reception and accepted all of the rental cost for the facility. That contract was between Sullivan’s and the [redacted] Center not Mrs. [redacted]. Sullivan’s would then provide a 4 hour wedding reception for Mrs. [redacted] and her guests. The reception was to come to a conclusion at 10 pm to allow all of the vendors, Sullivan’s included one hour to break down and clean the facility. Sullivan’s and all other vendors had to be off the premises at the [redacted] Center by 11 to avoid any additional costs. Attached you will also find an email from the owner of Sullivan’s, [redacted] stating all of the charges to the customer prior to the contract being signed and agreed upon. You will also find attached a square card statement showing that the last transaction for the cash bar portion of the event was after 9 pm on 5/25/2014. During the time of the reception Mrs. [redacted] and her guests were never refused any service with the food or bar. The bar remained open until 10 pm the evening of 5/25/2014. Sullivan’s nor its staff had any control with the guests leaving  the reception or the other vendors including the DJ leaving before the 10:00 time. Again in the signed contract it does not state an end time to the reception. Nothing from the[redacted] Center nor Sullivan’s was provided to Mrs. [redacted] stating her and her guests could stay on premis after 10pm. [redacted] would be glad to have the [redacted] Center employees verify that the guests were at the [redacted] Center until 10:00 the night of the event 5/25/2014. At this time we feel there are no facts pertaining to this dispute for Mrs. [redacted] that warrant a refund. There are multiple witnesses outside of Sullivan’s and its employees to verify that Sullivan’s provided the services agreed upon in the contract attached. While the reception space did seem to be warm for the time of year that was something that was out of Sullivan’s control. Mrs. [redacted] asked multiple times for a refund for the temperature being not what she desired for the reception space. [redacted] then told her she would talk to the [redacted] Center about the issue the following Tuesday. When [redacted] spoke to the venue about the issue on 5/27/2014, they informed Mrs. [redacted] there were no repair issues found with the heating and cooling system and at that time the full rental amount of the facility was due. Sullivan’s paid the [redacted] Center for the venue as agreed upon. There is and was nothing in writing stating any refund would be given to Mrs. [redacted]. There is more than one witness that can verify [redacted] never gave Mrs. [redacted] any indication that she would receive a full refund for any of the charges.
