of her Perlis tie, seeing as we never cleaned the item.  Ms. [redacted] brought in the Perlis tie on 08 September 2015 at approximately 10:45 am.  At that time, our two employees on duty received the garment and reviewed potential cleaning issues with the customer.  The customer informed our staff that she believed the spots on the tie were grease or food stains.  Upon further review, our employees noted that there were visible snags on the tie.  These two observations, the spots and snags, were included in our computer notations.  When the time came for our employee to “detail” the tie in our system, she noticed that the snags were in fact a hole, which rendered the tie unserviceable.  The note on the customer’s invoice reads “snags & hole front w/r (when received)”.  We cannot go back after the fact and add notes like to the invoice after the item is detailed.  The customer was contacted and informed that we would not be able to service the tie.  Ms. [redacted] was agreeable to this point.  However, when Ms. [redacted] came in to retrieve the tie on 11 September 2015, she accused Twin Oaks of damaging the tie during the cleaning process.  At this point, she also stated that there were no spots on the tie when she brought the garment in for cleaning.  This completely contradicts the initial inspection with our counter employees. Our employees behaved correctly in contacting Ms. [redacted] as soon as they realized and confirmed that the tie would not be able to be dry cleaned.  According to our staff, Ms. [redacted] behaved in a very dramatic fashion, threatened to smear our name and to complain to the Revdex.com if we did not pay for her tie.  Furthermore, Ms. [redacted] never allowed Twin Oaks Cleaners the opportunity to rectify the situation.  By the time the issue was known in the office, we had already received a complaint from the Revdex.com.  We feel that Twin Oaks Cleaners should not be responsible for any damage done during cleaning, as we did not clean any garment or item that belongs to Ms. [redacted].   We would very much like to have this issue resolved.  Our daily goal is to provide professional, thorough and competent service to our customers.  We want our customers to be confident in our ability to do our work and to know that we appreciate their patronage and loyalty.  But, is it right or fair for Twin Oaks to pay out the requested amount to Ms. [redacted] for work that we never did?  If we were negligent in handling any customers’ belongings, we would take immediate action to correct and resolve the problem.  This is a standard practice in our company.  Sent: Wednesday, September 16, 2015 3:24 PM To: drteam Subject: RE: Revdex.com of Houston and South Texas- Complaint regarding Your Business #[redacted]    If we do not clean a garment we should not be responsible for paying a claim.  But, since Ms. [redacted] is not accepting the truth that we never cleaned the tie and the claim is insignificant of $40.00, we will pay the claim, but will refuse to do any further business with Ms. [redacted]. The worst serve. Food ever.. They left the place so dirty. No taste to food..cold..and 1 hr late..very nasty... rude..I have never seen such filth. .to a catering company.. I have asked for them to reply back...a week later still nothing.. not one person at the banquet had anything good to say..
