We purchased a timeshare on 10/28/19 from Sumday. The timeshare has not closed, no way to reach them. FRAUD!!!
I was made aware of Sumday's services as an agent to dispose of my Marriott Vacation Club points. I payed them in September 2018 and was told that payment would only happen when there was an imminent sale. As of this complaint (November 2019), no disposition has occurred and I'm forced to pay another year's maintenance fees. When I called in earlier this month to request a refund, I was told that this transfer should have happened some time ago. The representative said she's call me back that day. Nearly two weeks later...no call. I'm demanding a $475 refund because I didn't get what I paid for. And now that I'm paying $1700 for another year, I may as well keep teh points and use them.
I spoke to *** on 12/5/19 and told him we were waiting for him to send us the maintenance fee statement. We asked him if he wanted to proceed with the transfer since we were in the final process. He stated he would ask his wife and get back to us. He has decided to proceed with the transfer and we are getting the 2020 maintenance fees paid for him. Sumday is great for 99 percent of Timeshare owners. This company is very reputable and will do any extra steps you request. It's one of the two Timeshare brokers I recommend to others, the other being Timeshare Nation. Only drawback is that sometimes, notarized warranty deeds might be dated a year ago.
This company is totally disreputable. They take your money, then there is no communication. When I finally contacted them to see what was going on, they had not done anything with my file. When I sent them the information that they should have asked for in the beginning, they wanted an additional $600 to file everything. When I requested a refund in writing as requested in the initial contract, they denied it. Do not deal with this company. They had the nerve to send me a letter asking if I still wanted to get rid of my timeshare, and that they had already closed my file!
This review is inaccurate; this client never paid any funds to our company and they never requested a refund from our company. They are confusing us with someone else. Further, we had the client’s information for a total of 10 days, having communicated with them 4 times, and the last phone conversation the client stated they wanted to cancel the process. This review should be removed and placed on the actual company the client paid.
My wife and I are contacting you regarding a company’s failure to return valuable documents entrusted to their care.
The company is Sumday Vacations, LLC, located in Branson, MO. We contracted with them a year ago to handle a transfer of ownership of a timeshare we own in Buena Vista, Florida. We paid the company $750.00 and provided them with our deed to the timeshare and paperwork providing them power of attorney.
The company did nothing for an entire year, and when we kept pressing them for updates and explanations for their lack of progress, we were provided only with vague and contradictory information and responses.
When we finally had enough of their deception and inactivity, we demanded our documents and our money back. They gave us a partial refund, but kept our documents.
We’re contacting you to complain not only about their failure to return our legal paperwork, but their failure to even respond to our demands for the return of our documents.
Any assistance your office can provide us in recovering what is rightfully ours, will be greatly appreciated.
The documents in question were returned on May 31, 2018 by certified mail, tracking number
I am trying to transfer ownership of my timeshare to SumDay vacations. We agreed upon a price and the documentation requested of me was provided, and suddenly they are requesting $700 US more (they claim their 'policy has changed' regarding all Westgate transfers).
I received an email from Sumday Vacations, ***, General Manager that said he was in receipt of the complaint with the Revdex.com and he would not be communicating with me any longer.
I am in receipt of your complaint; as it has been explained to you in emails and on the phone. The process in which we transferred your particular timeshare is no longer available. With that, we had to look for another option to transfer your ownership and change the process, without this change we would not be able to complete any transfer for this resort. Unfortunately this comes at a much higher price. We have a short timeframe in which to submit the transfers we were currently working on to get them done at a reduced price and in a timely manner. The reduced price is at an additional cost to you of $700. We understand not everyone could or would want to proceed in this manner, therefore we extended the offer to everyone that we could proceed with this increase or we would issue a full refund of all monies paid to Sumday Vacations, at a loss to us. As it is clear you do not desire to proceed, upon closing this complaint satisfied; Sumday Vacations will issue a full refund and return your documents.
Hi,
We got duped into a timeshare with all kind's of promises that were broken or were just lies. We felt trapped and had no way out until we found Sumday. They were very professional and got the job done relatively fast. (Only complaint is the closing documents took a while to get but that could have been the timeshare not releasing the deed promptly to continue the torture) I am referring Sumday to friends now. I will never need them again as I will never get sucked in by a snake salesmen again. If you want out contact Sumday, Good Luck!

I bought a 2 bedroom /triennial at Grandview Resorts from Sumday Vacations on Ebay....
I own a yearly 1 bed at Grandview also...When I was there last weekDec.9th 2017,I was checking on booking this 2 bed unit in March,for the 1st time,...The Grandview reservation Mgr.said I own a 1 bedroom?????
I will need all of my money back$225-and all of maintenence fees paid...$580- range..........$805-.......
I dont appreciate being lied to by you and your company.......I wouldnt have bought a 1 bed triennial.

You are correct in that fact that you won a 2 bedroom Grandview at Las Vegas timeshare through eBay on June 3, 2015. However, do to an issue with that property we were unable to transfer that ownership to you. Because you submitted payment for the purchase in the form of a money order, we in turn issued a full refund of those funds. On June 16, 2017 Sumday Vacation issued check number 2011 in the amount of $225.50 and was cashed on July 6, 2016.
We do not show you having any other purchases with Sumday Vacations, being the one in question never happened and you were refunded immediately, we ask that this negative review be removed in its entirety.
We where not told that there is a yearly fee off $200.00.
We paid over $3500.00 for the vacation plan.
