Summer Grove Apartments

I was the guarantor for my son for apartment[redacted], #6 last year in August. [redacted] gave my SON one copy of the lease and didn't give me anything. This particular lease stated the condition that the apartment should be in upon move-out. He also told us that the utilities could be put in my son's name but when the utility company called him, he recanted and wouldn't allow this to happen. On September 7, 2014, I received a "Disposition of Security Deposit" for the $500 security deposit that I paid. It states that I am being charged $47 for partial rent not paid for August and they are keeping my ENTIRE $500 security deposit. My niece moved in after my son left in April. She took her paid receipt back to[redacted] today. [redacted] told her that he instructed me that the $42 balance due is for a hole that my son put in the wall. I had to call[redacted] today to tell him my niece came by based on the Disposition of Security Deposit that stated she hadn't paid rent even though she did. I told[redacted] that if he wants me to pay for a hole put in the wall by my son, he needs to be professional and send me a bill that states it is for a hole put in the wall. I want my security deposit back because I asked[redacted] when I went to the office on 9/2/14 for a walk through the apartment with him because I cleaned the window sills in both bedrooms, swept, mopped and vacuumed. Since I didn't get a copy of the lease, I am not psychic to know that it was to be in pristine condition. [redacted] is unprofessional, scatter-brained, unqualified and slanderous.Desired SettlementI want my $500 security deposit back since I NEVER received a copy of the lease that states how pristine the apartment was to be in upon move out. I have rented apartments in my life and have ALWAYS received my security deposit back for performing cleaning of the window sills in both bedrooms, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming. He has asked me numerous times what did the previous manager [redacted] say because he is incompetent, lazy and libelous. He told MLGW when they called him that the utilities had to be in my sons name which was contradictory to what he told us. Also, I never said I didn't sign the paperwork because he gave it all to my son. Therefore I'm not to remember what I signed one year ago. Because of the lousy customer service I received I will continue to share [redacted]'s unprofessionalism ignorA cd and blame in this situation. I will be pursuing this in a court of law and using my freedom of speech to let everyone know by blogging
