[redacted] Dear RevDex.com: In response to ID [redacted] : My wife had agreed to have the vent glued back on the customer's car, which was all she wanted at first. As I looked further into the claim that we blew the vent off in our car wash, I learned it had already been... glued back on once, as the glue could still be seen on the hood of the car. Still, I contacted my body shop, and they agreed to glue the vent back on. The body shop told me the glue would not show. Then the customer did not want the vent glued back on as it might come off driving down the road, and hit the car behind her. I had also just discovered this message was in the GM recall for Hummers, GM recall II [redacted] . The recall shows the repair description to be glued back on, which is what the customer was so against. A copy of the recall is included. The customer now wants a new vent. GM refuses to provide her a new vent, but only glue the old one back on as did Summers Spray Car Wash. GM wanted her to come in and have the repairs done before the vent came completely off. Yet the customer had not taken her vehicle in for repairs in close to six years. She waited until it came off, glued it back on and then accused us of having done the minor damage after it came off a second time. We had already agreed to have our body shop glue the old one back on, she refused. She can still take it to GM and have them glue it back on. GM has issued the recall because the vents have been coming off without any assistance of car washes. We never spoke with any dealership, we read of the GM recall. I hope this clears the matter up as to why we don't feel responsible. We at Summers Spray Car Wash repair vehicles when we are at fault. We still agree to repair her Hummer vent by having it glued back on. Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: he did say there are no signs posted stating these vacuums are for paying customers onlyAlso I was not rude or vulgar in my phone call, and as a professional there are many people I wish to hang up on but understand true customer serviceFurthermore, he mentioned there were others who do this and how it isn't fair to customers that "we" use this service that is stated as free. If he would have apologized while on the phone I would not have filed a complaintAND I wish that signs are posted so others are not subjected to his unprofessional behaviors

vehicle has been through the wash. The vacuums are in an area where after you go through the wash, you pull out and they are right there for you to pull in and vacuum. Our vacuums are not advertised at all, as [redacted] claims. In five years, this is our first experience with anyone suffering from confusion concerning our vacuums, and whether or not you must purchase a wash in order to get free vacuums. I politely explained to Ms. [redacted] that the vacuums are free to use after you have purchased and been through the car wash. Since she remained polite, I went against our policy and allowed her to continue vacuuming her car and then purchase the wash. I amending this rule for Ms. [redacted] since I took her at her word that she would do so, and she did. We have over 40,000 cars pass in front of our car wash per day. We simply can't allow all of them to vacuum for free as Ms. [redacted] suggest. She was rude on the phone to me, which is the reason I hung up. We wash over a million cars per year and one person doesn't understand? I am willing to apologize to her for being confused by our signage.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the owner [redacted] and [redacted] are not being truthful.  . Not only have I not ever ask for money back from their services butt have always enjoyed this particular car wash because it has been far better quality in the past than any other in town however lately this car wash products and services have become impossible to use and do not offer the chemicals and products they're supposed to be available during purchase. On the day in question I attempted to contact mr. [redacted] who was in the next day however when I spoke to him he ignored me and yelled back just push the button on the machine and I told him that I did and it was not working he continued to yell back the same thing just push the button on the machine ignoring my request. I asked him if he was the owner or whether he just works here he said he was the owner and he didn't have any money to refund me. At that time I told him that this business has gone down hill and then on a couple of occasions it has not offered the products that it advertises even told me what why do I keep coming back and I told him at that time that I would not return to this car wash and that I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com he told me to get the hell out of there and don't come back and I told him don't worry I won't.   On the day in question of mr. [redacted] phone call to me the owner of the business ask me if I was the Revdex.com when I told him no I was the one filing the complaint against them with the Revdex.com he told me to not come back to his side and hung up on me. At that time I attempted to call him back I called him several times he ignore my phone calls until finally after about the third fourth call he answered the phone and was very psychotic with me saying that I was always going to his business and asking for refunds and that he never wanted me on his property again I didn't this man is very unreasonable makes up stories. For instance I do not wash my lawn equipment at his location at all. Never have. This man is phsychotic and possibly on drugs as his dilusional state gives credence to this possibility I would not doubt that this business is a front to some more sinister activities such the mafia or something else because of the attitude both the manager and owner have towards the public at large and towards there customers namely that mr [redacted] squared up with me as if to hit me because I ask for a 5.00 dollar refund. This kind of attitude towards people epitomizes psychological problem that is noted in drug abusers. This sort of behavior should not be allowed in public business I dont doubt that there will be other examples of other worsening behaviors from this buiseness. I would not go there again if you paid infact I dont want my money back at all. I just want the Revdex.com to note this situation and be aware of these people practices.
Regards,
