This whole statement is falseWe were not offered a new apartmentMy husband was told there was nothing that could be done, that we could buy an air purifier to help with the air quality in our current apartment, and to make sure we gave thirty days notice if we wanted to moveThis response has come only after we decided to give a notice that we are moving, so we do not further endanger our daughter's health

This tenant did speak to us regarding the smell of smoke coming into their apartment. They asked if they could transfer to a different apartment. I told them that we could and all they would need to do is sign a new 12 month lease. Their rent would remain the same price. They declined our offer.
