Dear Sirs, Summit College is recognized as an approved School by the Bureau of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), From the periods of May 23rd thru November the College was awaiting official approval to begin its next sessionThis approval arrived on November 2" and all
enrolled candidates were contacted and provided final instruction for the class startThe admissions counselors also attempted to update candidate's periodically throughout this month period with program updatesIn some instances immediate contact was made and other times unsuccessful attempts occurredAt this time the class has officially started on November 7th, The student in question was noted as in attendance this day, thus final communication appeared to be successful, Due to the previous class which the student attended, days of attendance are recognized as recorded and no prior days are deemed in questionCurrently with the beginning of a new class session, the'student must adhere to all rules, regulations and policies published by the school with relation to attendance and academics. In closing, the College works closely with the BVNPT as a partner and our approvals although timely in the past, have recently been longer than anticipated based on internal changes within the board, and the schools timely responses to approval information. I am rejecting this response because: If I did not continually call or go up to see my counselor I belive that I wouldn't of known the correct start dateI did not get properly contacted about the the start date untill I went and saw my counselor and then I was told that start date has been pushed and she would call or email me this was Oct 24, and from then on communication was picked up Any other communication before than was non existingand as I said thus form of communication was because I contacted and went up to summitsummit has a communication issue that is slowly being addressyes we have started term after a long headache of maybes and not sures
