I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.In response to Mr***, the first call I made to Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was March 6, 2015. I was unable to speak to or get a return call from Mr*** until Monday, March 9, when I had to make another call back to him because I did not get a return call as I was told I wouldI told Mr*** that I did not notice the damage on the day that the service was performed, but did see it when I was walking up to my vehicle the following dayI told him that only drove my vehicle to work that day and that I left it parked in the garage from that point on so that mileage could be used as evidence in my defenseI used my fiancé's vehicle for the following days and told him that I wouldn't be back in town until March 12, At that point we set up a time to bring it in on March 12, When I brought my vehicle in on March 12, 2015, Mr*** had my vehicle lifted on a different lift and stated that the initial lift that was used for my oil change could not have caused the damageIn Mr***'s response he stated that the damage is from side impact, but I have included an attachment which shows that the bottom of the driver side rocker panel was pushed up around the cornerI do not know whether the damage was caused from the service technician improperly lifting the vehicle or from him hitting or running over something, but I do know that the damage was caused while in the possession of Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep RamI do know that the technician seemed unexperienced as I noticed that he did almost lower my vehicle onto another as I walked to the service area to see what was taking so longIf it were not for Mrs***, the Express Lane representative, yelling to him to stop he would have hit the other vehicleAlso, the service technician parked my vehicle way out front rather than on the service side of Summit like they normally do, which I feel was an attempt to avoid the damage from being as visibleI have also been informed that if there was damage to the vehicle when it was brought in for service that it would be noted on the work orderThis also proves that there was no damage before service was performedI brought my vehicle to Summit's preferred body shop, as well as one of my choiceThey both agreed that, if properly lifted, the damage would not have been caused by the liftThey also stated that "pucks" were not properly placed, or if the technician hit or ran over something, that the damage was caused by themAlso, *** ***, the recommended body shop by Summit, stated that the damage looked about a week old due to the amount of rust that had formed on the damaged area.I have had several problems with my vehicle since I purchased it and have been patiently waiting for them to be resolvedI am clearly not a difficult or dishonest person, otherwise I would have contacted the Revdex.com a long time agoI am very disappointed that Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is not taking responsibility for the damage that was caused to my vehicle while in their possession and I astounded by the poor customer service I have received since bringing the issue to Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep Rams attention

customer left my dealership that day and called me five or six days later about the damageon his vehicleHe claims that after the oil change he parked his car in his garage for three daysbecause he and his wife took a tripWhen they got back he said that he went to work , and whenhe got out of work is when he noticed the damage to his carHe called me and said we damagedhis car, and I told him to bring it down and that I would take a look at itHe brought it in twodays later on March 12, and I brought it in and put it on the lift to check out the damageInoticed that the damage first was in the middle of the vehicle, and the dent came from a sideimpactI told him that there isn't any way my lift could damage his car in that wayI asked himto take it to a local body shop, and ask for his professional opinionHe agreed and had anestimate done while he was looking at the vehicleI called the body shop and asked the ownerhis opinionHe came to my shop and I showed him the lift and he said that the lift could not dothat kind of damage to the customer's damage even if we tried toThe lift is a ride on scissor liftdesigned to lift vehicles from a Volkswagen Beetle to a full size truckWe do a lot of oilchanges through our express lane service, and we have never had any damage done to anyvehicles due to this liftIf I thought by any chance there was a way we could have damaged thecustomer's car, I would have taken care of it then and thereI do not think the customer wastrying to get a free fix, I truly believe he thinks the damage was done by usBut, unfortunatelythere is no way my lift could have caused that type of damageIt is unfortunate to lose acustomer this wayI do hope the customer will understand the situation, and that we can see himfor future business.Thank you,*** ***Service ManagerSummit Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Dear Revdex.com,I have reviewed the "second" response made by Mr. [redacted] . In response to Mr.[redacted] stating that he watched the oil change performed and did not notice the damage to hisvehicle at eye level while on the lift. He got into his vehicle and left the dealership and did notnotice the damage to his vehicle. He then got into his vehicle to go into work the next day andstill did not notice the damage that is on the side that Mr. [redacted] enters and gets out of. It waswhile leaving work and walking to his car he noticed the damage. When Mr. [redacted] brought itdown for me to have a look at the damage, I was shocked and even asked him if he was seriouslythinking we did this kind of damage on a scissor lift . Mr. [redacted] claims we used "pucks" as hecalls them. This again is a scissor lift that we use rubber blocks under the vehicle on all fourcorners. Mr. [redacted] is misinformed with the usc of"pucks" that are used in a two post lift.The damage is in the middle of the vehicle and was not damaged while performing the oilchange. We have done hundreds of oil changes on this lift, and have never damaged a single car.Again, as I stated before, we could not purposely cause this type of damage to Mr. [redacted]vehicle with this lift. In response to Mr. [redacted] stating that if the lift did not cause the damagethen we could have ran something over while driving it from the express lane to the front of thebuilding. This too did not happen. In closing, we are not responsible for the damage to Mr.[redacted] vehicle. It is an unfortunate situation for Mr. [redacted] and Summit Chrysler DodgeJeep Ram. As I stated before, if we felt it was something that could have been done here, thismatter would have already been resolved.
