In July we paid the owner of Fix-A-Deck to remove an old, attachhouse deck and construct a new one (different design and layout)The deck promised was to have a large, tiered, wrap around style, a built in BBQ nook, a pergola style 'roof,' built in planter boxes and a swing that hung to the pergolaAfter plans and an estimated price were agreed to, the owner and sole operator failed to deliver on construction completion, under delivered on the quality of craftsmanship and conducted himself in a very unprofessional, juvenile manner
As of September 20, the deck has NOT been completed to satisfaction; what is finished is no where up to code (fire hazard as built in BBQ nook gets extremely hot when the bbq is in use and the deck bounces when walked on)What is finished of the deck is poorly constructed as there are holes that go into the house, grass and weeds are growing through the deck (the owner of Fix-A-Deck advised that nothing would grow through the deck as h
