I am rejecting this response because: They are not doing anything to fix this situationThey are now saying something else is wrong but the same exact thing at the same exact place this past time I brought it inWhy is it now after you worked on the car their is other problems with itI think this is shotty work from a shotty place and now you aren't covering what you said you wouldAnd YES the Assistant Service Manager Cody did say the entire Transmission was covered for the years and I wouldn't have any other problems with this transmissionThis is a Guarantee but it was a guarantee you gave me straight from your mouthI just want my car to be fixed like I was promised in the first place.

On first visit to Summit ***, customer had Trans Fault light on due to a Trans Speed Sensor Failure DTC ***Summit *** replaced the Mechstronic Unit per the diag (Internal Transmission)The first one installed was defective and Summit *** warrantied the part and returned the vehicle to the
customermiles later the Trans Fault light came back on, now with DTC *** for trans tempDiagnosis lead to the thermostatic valve (external to the transmission)Customer declined the second repair and was not charged! These are different problems and different repairsThe car was at an Independent Shop prior to coming to Summit *** and codes were erasedDealer could only diagnosis the current DTC's and those have not returned.My service advisor did admit to telling the customer the part replaced was covered year unlimited miles and in fact it is only covered year unlimited milesI told the customer Summit *** will warranty the part replaced for the years. Customer was not told the entire transmission would be under warrantyAs to the parts pricing, it is to the discretion on the dealer to bill parts at or above MSRP and is common practice within the industryCustomer was charges $for the parts and MSRP was $I will provide the signed Accounting Copy to the Revdex.com if requested

There is nothing keeping the client from using this truckWe have no legal reason to let this customer return this vehicleIt is simply a kind gesture on our partIf the customer wishes not to wait until April 18th we will move forward with the title process on the vehicle he purchased from us and he will continue to own his new truck

I am rejecting this response because: their mistake on their end with paperwork and titling is the reason of the delay to begin withSecond, I will be losing work due to waiting for the GM to get back from vacation is not resolving the issue

Summit Ford sold this vehicle to Mr***Mr*** went to register this vehicle and title work was not readyWe issued Mr*** another temp registration while we sort out a out of state title issueWe purchased this truck from a lady in New Mexico that was cleaning up her fathers estate
She incorrectly told the state of New Mexico incorrect mileageWe have a title company currently working with the state of New Mexico to clear up this issueDuring the conversation between JR M*** and Mr*** he was informed if we could not get the title issue corrected we would unwind the truck deal and make him wholeA list of complaints then came out about the truckNothing that is keeping the client from using the truck currently to do what he was doing with his old truckAt this point the client has made I believe two payments on the new truck, we have paid off his trade in, and the lien has been perfectedMr*** decided that he would like us to unwind this deal and give him his old truck back, and we have agreed to do thisHowever this cannot be treated as an unwind, and we must treat it as a new car dealWe will have to trade him out of the truck he purchased and re-sell him his old truckHe will then have to wait for the title work to get processed (45-days) before he can register his old truck againDoing this for Mr*** is by choice on our partMr*** had a phone conversation with JR M*** and was told this would be done on April 18th when JR returns to the officeAccording to the small complaints that Mr*** brought up there is nothing keeping him from using his new truck to do the items he would be doing with his former truck

He was very understanding of my complaints and was eager to come to a solution? It was unfortunate things had escalated to where they had? MrR[redacted] not only listened to me but he understood where I was coming from? To my relief, MrR[redacted] has offer to make it right and do everything he can to do so? I am happy to continue to do business with Summit Ford and look forward in doing so in the future? So, my hats off to you Mr R[redacted] and thank you for making all my little complains important to Summit Ford
