May 15, 2015Dear [redacted]:I am writing in response to claim #[redacted]. I have attached a copy of the agreement between Summit Hills and [redacted], not [redacted]. Again, if the accommodations did not meet the needs and or expectations of [redacted]'s, she should share any concerns with [redacted]. Contrary to [redacted]'s claim, the furniture is not rental furniture. We purchased all items for the suite and maintain them to make sure they are clean and operable at all times.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call me on ([redacted].Sincerely

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:[redacted]  The resident who reserved the suite is not the one responsible for the furnishing or the upkeep of the guest suite. Summit Hills is the one who provides the furniture, bedding, cleaning, and maintenance of that room. I was asked to sign a contract in the leasing office and give a copy of my driver's license, as well as signing an inventory sheet once in the room, as their employee checked the linen and towel count. I am also attaching an image of the check I sent the resident to pay for the unit, as I was told the resident was to make and pay for the reservation, I was not allowed to.
The resident is unable to call the furniture rental company to get the mattress changed out, as all that information is in the name of Summit Hills. She did not have the legal power, nor authority to make any changes to the room, as she does not own or upkeep it. I am not denying that I was not allowed to make my own reservation, or that the resident had to make it, but everything is in Summit Hill's name as far as any repairs, remediation, or changes to the suite are concerned. I do not see how the resident could possibly remediate any problems with the unit, as Summit Hills claims, if she does not own the unit, nor is given the authority to make any changes or repairs, such as call the furniture rental company.
I thank you ahead of time for your time and consideration in this matter
Regards,
