Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I terminated the contract not Summit [redacted] 's solutions was too charge us more money since the job was not being done to our satisfaction that was not a solutionSummit should have a record of our complaints every time the beds were servicedAt the time of my original complaint I had not received a refundI do not feel the refund is sufficient because the job was not quality workThe first time Summit serviced our beds the tops of our sage bushes were not trimmed up on every single bushWe complained about this and some weeds being left in bedsThis problem was not taken care of till the next visitWe complained about weeds being left in the beds again; we were told weeds are growing rapidly now and that was the problemI did not agree with the response but did not argue hoping next time would be betterEvery time Summit came to service our beds at least or more beds were not touchedThe final time Summit came to service our beds I called the following day to have a someone come out and look at the job since once again weeds were left in the beds and beds had not even been touchedI was told the weeds I was complaining about were trivialThe weeds were not trivial to me when I am paying good money for someone to maintain my bedsI was told they probably sprayed the weeds these weeds were too close to my plants to be sprayed without doing damage to the plantsShe was going to pull up some of the weeds that she claimed had been sprayed I told her to leave them so I could see if they had been sprayedThose weeds never died they continued to grow because they were not sprayedI pulled the weeds myself something that should have been done by Summit It was obvious we were not happy with the job since we complained any good business person would have sent someone out to inspect the job but Summit did not send someone until I said someone needs to come look at this jobThe girl that came out agreed that of my beds on the last visit had not been touchedShe told me she would send someone out to complete those beds the next weekOn the 3rd week I called to ask when someone was going to fix the beds and was told they would be coming the following week for the monthly visit and fix the beds thenI am not paying for an incomplete job As far as the payment being late, yes we did not pay but [redacted] from Summit called me to inform me she was running late with the bill not too worry it was not lateWe then received the last service call and once again Summit had done a poor jobI was told someone would come fix it and I wasn't going to pay until it was fixed which never ever happenedThis is supposed to be a professional landscaping company the job was equivalent to the job someone who never touched a bed could have done As far as [redacted] saying we were racially profiling his employees I will have to call this a FLAT OUT LIEWhen [redacted] came out to our place to give original estimate I told him it was very important that every time someone was coming we needed to be called because of our dogWe have a dog that was abandoned and abused and dumped at our gateWe adopted this dog and take very good care of himWe have to watch this dog because he will biteThis dog absolutely hates small children and has shown aggression to people that are not AngloThis has happened on numerous occasions that he has shown aggressionI made [redacted] aware of this problem and told him that we must know what date they were coming so I could put the dog up so no one was injuredThe reason I know the dogs reaction is because we have numerous friends and relatives that are not Anglo and the dog reacts that way every single timeI resent [redacted] making such a statement to make himself look betterI have a stepmother in law that is Hispanic and several nieces and nephews that are interracialI have more friends that have interracial marriages than same race marriagesTHIS STATEMENT STRIKES A NERVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I find it pathetic he had to resort to such a claimIn no way was telling [redacted] that my dog was prejudice a racial slurThe least [redacted] could do is apologize for this fabricate story When I tried to speak to [redacted] he refused to listen to my concerns [redacted] repeatedly spoke over me and would not allow me to finish any sentencesYes my husband got extremely ugly and used foul language I will not deny [redacted] tried to speak over my husband just like he had done on the phone when I spoke to him It was as if [redacted] had plenty of practice in this area [redacted] had absolutely no concern for the lack of satisfaction we had with SummitMy husband did let [redacted] know that we would tell friends of our experience and put it on social mediaAt no time was there any harm threatened he did say we would talk to our lawyer but that is not harmSpeaking to a lawyer is not harm it is trying to protect ourselves from shady business people If Summit core values are quality, relationships, efficiency, safety and profitability they have failed at all but the lastThe quality ,relationships, efficiency, were not touched on with our relationship and I might add the safety was not 1st and foremost since the first time Summit failed to let us know they would be coming so I could pen my dogI complained about the lack of notification and [redacted] informed me they usually don't do thatI had to remind him about the dog he had written notes on seems like I the racial profiler was more concerned about his employee than he appeared to be It unfortunate that the conversations did get heat but when being ripped off of our hard earned money they tend to get heatedIt is also unfortunate that a business would resort to fabrication of the is***s for their personal gainConsumers need some form of protection against companies that do not operate and maintain the level of service their clients should receive or were promisedIf Summit was trying to make the situation agreeable I would like to know howCommitments were made and not honored We would be satisfied with half of the money returned and I don't feel like Summit even earned that halfIf Summit was truly acting in good faith they would return that moneySummit knows the job was not complete on any service calls Regards, [redacted]

Client was given a refund of downpayment, less the months of service we had rendered - for which they had not paidClient failed to mention this fact in their original complaint.
We deeply regret this client was not satisfied with our level of serviceHowever, the
nature of complaints and threats we received, not to mention racially profiling our employees left us no choice but to terminate this client and provide them a refund (Date 2.23.2016, $331.15, Check #***)We have gone well beyond what is required in the contract this client signed and agreed to before we began work for themThe fact that we allowed this client to fall behind in their payments speaks to our effort to make this situation agreeable for the client before requiring payment.The Core Values our company lives by are as follows:

Customer agreed to and paid for an initial consultOur company does not provide estimates on pricing without a detailed designThe customer was informed that a design would cost $per hourAll of these details were presented in detail to customer before the initial consult took placeWe
believe that the service we provide during the initial consult is well worth the cost
This customer has a landscape that was in total disrepair - including water draining into living structure from past projects being completed poorlyWe offered a variety of options to mitigate the customers most urgent and long term issuesWe gave the customer a range of options and prices concerning the items which could be included in a design
Our company will not engage in work that does not fully solve the problemOur year track record of impeccable customer service speaks for itselfAt the end of the initial consult, the customer presented a request for pricing on items "per their specification" and we offered a range of what those items might cost (verbally), but declined to engage in that work due to opening our company to expanded liability from major project issues still needing to be addressed.
We hope this brings clarity to the issue and look forward to an immediate resolution

As stated in our previous response, we have exhausted all resources to satisfy this clientIt is our intention to handle all situations fairly and in good faithBased on the responses given by the customer, there is nothing further we can doThe fact remains we provided an excellent service for which we are due compensationThis client has a history of filing Revdex.com reports and slandering through various channels every contractor that services their propertyUnfortunately we were unable to stem the tide with our award winning services, and have unwittingly fallen prey to their tactics. I am rejecting this response because: I have never ever filed a complaint with the Revdex.comSummit did not perform a good service and I would like to know how *** *** came up with this statement that we file complaints with the Revdex.com on everyoneThis is another tactic of his lies and horrible business practicesI have come to the conclusion that Summit and especially *** *** have no concern with customers relations or satisfaction*** *** will lie to obtain business and lie whenever he is confronted with complaintsI challenge *** *** to name the complaints I have made with the Revdex.com since this is the firstI will say we have had companies service our landscaping needs - the 1st moved out of area and the 2nd was from out of town and it was not profitable for them to service usBoth of these companies did much better work than SummitIn fact we had absolutely no complaints with either companyThe first two companies did an excellent job I will say *** called after the 1st visit and ask how the job was I let him know we were not real happy instead of saying let me come take a lookHe asked me if I had anything good to say because they do like to hear the good stuffHe was not interested in any of our concernsSummit has not provided a service to earn the amount of money we have paidI understand I can't win with such a dishonest person as *** *** who repeatedly lied in his statementsI just feel sorry for the rest of the people he chooses to rip offSummit landscaping fell very short on filling their obligations to us and we have become victims of their sorry business ethic

I do not feel the refund is sufficient because the job was not quality work. The first time Summit serviced our beds the tops of our sage bushes were not trimmed up on every single bush. We complained about weeds being left in the beds again; we were told weeds are growing rapidly now and that was the problem.
