Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/20) */ Your complainant called Summit's office and was told some documentation was missingInstead of cooperating by providing the missing documentation, your complainant chose to argue the point, and then called back repeatedly to argue even more When it becomes obvious that a client or caller only wants to argue, Summit contacts Social Security and asks to be removed immediately, which was doneAfter that, all conserved funds are immediately returned to Social Security, which was also doneYour complainant was informed of Summit's disassociation and the return of the conserved funds; but, she kept calling back to continue arguingHer harassing calls were no longer accepted at that point; but, as we all know, some people are never satisfied and they are only interested in perpetuating a pointless argument even after it has become moot, which is why she has carried this to the Revdex.comSince she is owed nothing and she wants nothing personally, there is nothing for Revdex.com to mitigate and nothing to resolveThis is clearly just a further waste of everyone's time As for your complainant being her mother's payee, Social Security always prefers a family member to take that responsibility and Summit concursSocial Security will make that preferred selection unless the family member is on welfare, is on some other public dole, or is a convicted felonOutside agencies are selected only when the family member refuses to accept the responsibility or is otherwise precluded and there is no one else to fill the roleAgencies always require a high level of cooperationWhen a family member interferes, or the client/family member does not cooperate with the client/agency relationship and instead demonstrates a propensity for argument and conflict, the association is terminated and funds are returned Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/07/22) */ Complaint # XXXXXXXX As far as all the documents not being provided, I can only say I have "OK" status faxed paper work to which I received verbal notice from [redacted] (Summit Payee Employee) that documents were received and my mother would be put in there system as a client by the end of JunePhone record will show that a total of phone calls were made July 9th and 10th I would hardly call that harassmentThe first call was made Thursday July 9th where the information relayed to me from a girl who picked up the phone was that my mother's funds were received and I was asked to call back the next day and speak with [redacted] who would have more information about when my mother's remainder benefits were to be allotted to herSecond call was made July 10th, the man who answered the phone picked up and stated the business name and I said Hi and identified myself as my mother's daughter calling on her behalf and I asked if I were speaking with ***The man answered back harshly No! I asked if I could speak with [redacted] to whom I was told to call and talk too by the girl the day beforeThe man answered "no he's not here"; so I asked to speak with the director Ms [redacted] and he again refused and stated she wasn't availableI proceeded to inquire about the status of my mother's funds and asked his name to which he just came back with a questionsSome I gave answers too no argumentsI gave my mother's name and the man harshly stated they did not have the rental agreementThis information was opposite of what I had been told in the last month calling a total of times in the month of June and twice in the month of May by the other workers there; so of course I said no that's incorrect, her funds have already been received and the amount I was given yesterday from the girl had included a rental agreement deductionThe man yelled that I wasn't standing in front of his desk looking at what his computer was telling him, and then hung up on meI then made a 3rd call to the riverside number provided on the web site to which the same unnecessarily aggressive man picked up the line, said he wouldn't give his name and hung up on me a second timeI did not once curse, yell, or come back with any foul comments or language and least of all any harassment as phone record will showI then proceeded to contact Ms [redacted] through e-mail and dialed the number she also provided as her personal cell and I left a message about that particular mans demeanorSocial Security Administration was contacted today July 21st and they show no record of my mother's benefit funds being returnedI do not know Summit Payee's method of sending back client funds but as of today approximately $HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED to Social Security AdministrationIn addition to calling the director I sent an e-mail explaining that every penny and dime should be returned as services were not rendered to my mother as a temporary clientA valid business should have their systems in order as well as fulfilling the services their flyer states which in this case none of it was accomplishedOn a lighter note, I will say that every other person I encountered at Summit in the last couple of months over the phone were respectful and informative although inconsistentI would call this complaint unresolved until my mother's funds are truely returned and would like to encourage Summit Payee Services update their systems and customer service personnel Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 19, 2015/09/11) */
