Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The reply is only partially true The paperwork was filled out correctly, that is true, but the billing department did not change the old data to the current data or did so only partially The person in billing said she had info from and it didn't get changed as far responsible party and address I believe they did try to call ONE land line number provided that is an old number and rarely used New cell numbers were provided that did not get called The administrator even admitted to me that the voice mail was full, so how can a message be left? They did reverse the collection, removed the fees, corrected the name and address and I have already sent a check paying the debt in full However, Summit Surgery did not bill correctly and once they obtained the correct information, they still did not bill correctly, they just sent it collection I am not partially to blame, I did everything I was supposed to do from the beginning I didn't lie, or give information or fill out the form incorrectly Billing is not my job and I am the customer and I do not appreciate them trying to making excuses or blame me too They need to take FULL responsibility for their billing error Sincerely,*** ***

When clients register, they are given a "Patient Information/Registration" form to review to make sure all of the information it contains is correct.  This form was given to the client to review.  The billing office was told that everything was correct, when in fact the...

information was opbviously incorrect, so billing statements were obviously sent to the wrong address.  The client was also called at the number supplied (which was the correct number) and a message was left for him to call back regarding his account.  We never received a return phone call. 
Once an account is turned to collections the account belongs to the collection agency, so after the account went to collections, we were then finally notified of the address correction.
Even though incorrect information was received from the client, we are willing to waive the collection fees at this time and turn the statement over to the client with his corrected address.
