Summit View Roofing did an excellent job taking care of our roofing needs and other damages done to the house due to the hail storm in May *** handled all the insurance filing and made sure to be here when the insurance adjuster came, not once but twice I would definitely recommend Summit View
I hired Summit View to replace my roof and complete a fair amount of work outlined in an insurance claim in association with the hail damage. He agreed and wrote a basic contract, all work to be accomplished within 6 weeks.
He hired in a subcontractor who did an adequate job on the roof.
The roof was inspected and passed.
He then hired in a subcontractor to replace all the gutters. This contractor destroyed all the drip edge on the roof and damaged several roofing shingles. The gutters were not hung straight, level, nor attached to the house flush. Additionally, water in this contractors world flows uphill.
I had Summit View come out and look, his comments was, he's seen worse jobs,
He had the gutter contractor come back out and repair these gutters, he only made matters worse. I had Summit View come out again, this time, after pointing out all the problems, The contractor QUIT, and left me with finishing the work.
Wow! That should just about say it all. After having a terrible experience with another company on our rental property re-roof and exterior paint we found ourselves having to file a hail claim for our personal home. We knew the damage that we needed to complete and what would be covered through the insurance. At that point we contacted several companies and met with about 8 different estimators having each provide a quote. [redacted] with Summit View was the one who impressed us the most. From his prompt (early) arrival for a quote, quick (but thorough) explanation of Summit Viewâs policies, procedures and services to his professionalism. He was THE ONLY company that followed up with us which gave us more assurance and trust in him. We were on a tight schedule due to our home being under contract to close within 3 weeks. The roof was completed 2 days after we decided to use Summit View and only took 1 day; the gutter work was completed within 1 week and the paint for the exterior of the house was completed before our closing date, which was actually moved earlier by 2 days. [redacted] and John were at our house several times during the day that the roof was being completed, checking to ensure the work was being done correctly and quickly as well as stopped by to check on the other work that was being done. In addition to dropping by he communicated with us during each day there was work scheduled to ensure we were satisfied. From Start to Finish we were confident in the work that was being done and that it would be done well, on time and at a competitive price. I am VERY Dissatisfied with this Company and it's Owner, For NOT doing what they say and not showing up on time, Not returning calls when Promised, The Owner doesn't know how to manage his Workers, Very Sloppy work, using Used Materials on the job ( Used Siding ) Extremely Cheap Materials used on Wood Fence, Grease and Oil on Driveway,Damaged my Lawn ( Large Gas Spill Front ) and Four Planters in my back yard Damaged. DID NOT ! do repairs as stated on Insurance Estimate, and turned tried to bill Insurance for work he did not do.

It was great to work with a company that has integrity and deals honestly with their clients. We were also surprised how fast they jumped on the job, it was done quickly without sacrificing quality. We would definitely recommend Summit to those needing repairs or a new roof due to hail damage, especially when you have to work with insurance companies.
Our shake wood roof received significant damage from one of the recent hail storms and our insurance company agreed to pay for the roof replacement. We received several bids for the roof replacement and chose Summit View as our contractor. We had a great experience with them and highly recommend them. The product quality and workmanship was excellent, and their communication and assistance through the process was very helpful and effective. They did everything right â contracts, work permits, liability insurance, prompt service, clear communication, assistance with our insurance companyâs process and procedures, as well as personal follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. Summit View is absolutely wonderful to work with. They were prompt for every appointment. They explained everything clearly so we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it...all with excellent quality.
We had to be away when the work was started. Our daughter also wanted her room painted 4 different colors while we were away and they handled that for us as well. It was particularly difficult because there were both light and dark colors, different on every wall. [redacted] and his team gave us updates every step of the way, without us even asking. When we returned, everything was exactly as they said it would be. And our daughter's room was simply perfect!

Everything he said they would do, they did and at the price agreed to. The price was very competitive as I researched and received quotes from several contractors before deciding to go with this contractor. And I am more than glad that I did. The workmanship was of high quality. And when the work was done there was no mess left. I was repaird water leaking on front porch area.still leaking as same area.it was last 8/4 monday.they inspect eye vision broken roofing area,and they want$ 600.00.because tile need reset, that is wrong inspect it need water spray 4 by 4 section for leaking water drop some area.they not did water sprayed, still leaking water droping.owner name is jhon.he told me I will fix still warer droping area ,but he didnot yet.8/10/2014.no cell phone anser,e-mail.he told me that I will send to e-mail for receipt$550.00paid about roofing repair.I know now idea,,,for leaking water roofing inspect first,spray water for lot water flow area.
