Ripped off . Refund never showed up.
We purchased a motor on line from Summitparts.com and when it arrived it was damaged/broken. That happens we know that. We immediately contacted them and followed all their requests. 6 months later after several phone calls we have still NOT been refunded for the broken motor. We keep getting the run around and we will call you back BS. I finally gave up and contacted my own credit card company who told me TOO BAD it's TOO LATE. You only have 2 billing cycles to reverse a charge. Summitparts.com does NOT stand behind their products. Buyer beware. If you have a problem contact your credit card company immediately and don't let them give you the BS they gave us.

Review: On 6/**/2013 I ordered 3 items from Summtparts.com for a total of 277.97. As of 6/** I had not received any notification on shipping details or a ship date. I filled out the contact form on 6/** to summit parts to inquire about the shipping. I just received a phone call on 6/** at 4:07pm from their customer support stating "the manufacturer has gone up on their pricing so they will have to charge me more money". I have already been charged for these items from this company at their advertised pricing and my credit card shows this transaction. I just looked at their website and all three items still show the price what I have been charged. Even after she said we have to charge you more money. I have taken screen shots of the three items from their website that shows my price if you need them. I even took a screenshot of their homepage that states "The Summit Guarantee: Your satisfaction is our goal. If you're not 100% satisfied, call us and we'll make it right...period".Desired Settlement: I would like my items sent to me at the advertised prices according to their website. I am not responsible for someone else's pricing, only the place I purchased the items from. How can I be charged more money after the transaction has taken place?.

The customer placed an order on 6/**/2013 and the items that were ordered were on back order from the manufacturer. The customer called to check on the order on 6/**/2013 and in turn we contacted the manufacturer to get a status. The manufacturer informed us that the parts would be shipping to the customer within a couple of days, but at that time the manufacturer also informed us of a price increase for 2 of the 3 items that were ordered. Since the items ordered were manufactured items, prices sometimes will increase depending on when the items are ordered. We contacted the customer immediately and informed him of the situation and unfortunately the customer was very uncooperative and unwilling to listen to our explanation of the price increase situation. The amount that increased was twice of what was told to the customer, we were willing to pay 1/2 of the increase amount. But again, the customer was unwilling to even listen to any explanati on and refused to speak to the customer service representative. So the customer representative took down his information and was told that a manager would call him later and would come up with a resolution that will satisfy the customer 100%. After the customer hung up, he immediately went to Revdex.com without giving the manager a chance to make things right also without letting us know that he had already filed a complaint. When the manager spoke to the customer, again the customer was very combative and unwilling to listen to the manager and didn't even let the manager communicate to him that we were willing to give him a credit on account towards a future order if he would only let us charge $15 dollars extra just to not let the invoice show a negative profit. The next business day we received the Revdex.com complaint and to 100% satisfy the customer we didn't charge him any extra amount. The manager and sales representative tried numerous times to call the customer to let h im know that he would not be charged any extra amount and left numerous messages, but the customer never picked up the calls or called back as we had requested in the messages. We have been in business for 25 years and never had a complaint. We always strive to satisfy the customer 100% in one way or another, as long as the customer is willing to work with us as well.

The item was special ordered directly from the manufacturer, Wascomat. This is the original factory part that Wascomat offers. The customer can contact Wascomat directly and speak to the parts department to verify. If the customer doesn't want the part, he must call us and get a Return Authorization Number to be able to send the part back to us. There will be a re-stocking fee that applies, as noted in our FAQ page. Thank you.
