Review: Back in March of 2014 I spoke to [redacted] about getting a merchant cash advance for my business and switching my credit card processing to them. During this process I was told a lot of untruths to try to get my business. I am a small business and explained that I needed 1 credit card terminal and a gateway for my website. Over the next couple of weeks, I attempted to confirm the terms of the processing and the type and number of credit card terminals being shipped to me. I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. I was told repeatedly "we understand your business and know what you need". I asked this question a lot and always got the same response but decided not to worry about it too much because I knew we had discussed it.

I was told that I would be charged $280 per month, which was an all-inclusive fee, for the credit card terminal, a flat fee for credit card processing, all statement fees, etc. I was told this would be it and that for the first four months that fee would be reimbursed to me. I was leery because I didn't have any fees with my previous processor but in the end agreed since it was to be all inclusive. I was also told that I could cancel after four months with a cancellation fee if I didn't like the service.

I did get a loan from them and was told that there was no processing fee, yet was charges a fee and promised that it would be added to the first reimbursement of the $280.

The truth: I was given 3 credit card terminals, a pin pad and the gateway. The fee quoted was only for the equipment leasing, and that was a non cancellable lease. It didn't include processing charges, statement fee, or any or fee. I went back and looked at the paperwork and that I signed and at no time is there a mention of the equipment being sent to me, not even on the paperwork I got later from the lease company. Once I got the credit card terminals, I contacted [redacted] right away and told him to change it to what I had requested. Her promised he would call them and get it corrected. I called them also, which is how I found out the $280 was just for the equipment and didn't include any other fees and that the lease couldn't be cancelled.

It has now been about 3 months going on 4 months and it still hasn't been corrected. I advised at the time that I would not process until it is corrected. I've called almost everyday since then and have spoke with him maybe 3 times. He lies to me to get me off the phone and then I can't get in touch with him anymore. I've tried to go over his head but he is apparently one of the owners of the company. He has never reimbursed the $280 plus the amount of the loan he promised would be added to it.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like for him to cancel my services through this company including any processing and the lease for the equipment (without penalty for either). I appreciated the loan even though it wasn't correct amount that was given and will pay it back through my current processor. I need the info to do that. I would also like the first $280 payment to be applied to the loan. (once other services are cancelled)

Review: This company provides loans to small businesses that are having money problems. We where contacted by this company offering us a loan. They did not specify the size of the loan at the beginning, they said that we had to give them some papers and information and they would give us aprox. on how much the loan we would get. This is fine, the problem started that their employee, [redacted], made us sign with a third company, a company that processes credit cards for the customers and this way they take their money from the loan. We signed this because Sumopay assured us this would speed the process and that our loan was approved, still not knowing the size of the loan. Then we got the equipment from this third company telling us that they have never worked with Sumopay and if I am not using there equipment I have to pay them $8,000 plus to them. When I call Sumopay to ask what is going on they tell me that they fired [redacted] and I could talk to his [redacted] ( I must add that no one ever wants to give their full name). She told us back on May [redacted] that this should have not happened and to give here 1 day and she would get the situation resolved that they should have never done this to us. Now it has been more that 2 months I call and call she never answers emails or picks up her phone. Her [redacted] told me that she personally gave her my message and she would get back to me. They never gave us the loan, never told us how much the would lent us and now I am in debt with a 3rd company that doesn t know them and it is affecting my personal credit. I have emails that she says saying she will fix this situation and nothing is happening. I just think this is a scam or they do no any work ethics. They promise things and they don t follow through. This is not fairDesired Settlement: I would like them to pay of fix the situation they made me have with the third company and fix my personal credit. I want them to take care of the issue I don t want to deal with this and a personal apology for lying to me.
