Sumser's Concrete Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] is trying to down play the problem.  The cracks have been filled but due to the concrete being poured when it was cold, it had to be covered with tarps so that it did not freeze. I asked several times before agreeing on this job if it was too cold to pour concrete and I was told that it was not too cold. I was not told that covering the concrete could discolor it (and it did just that).  After the job was completed Mr. [redacted] told me that the discoloring should disappear in several months as the sun would draw the moisture out of the concrete.  We had several months of temperatures in the high 90's and the discoloration of the large back area of concrete has NOT gotten any better.  Now Mr. [redacted] tells me that it could take "a couple of years" for the discoloration to dissipate. In the last 4 months I had attempted to call Mr. [redacted] company to resolve these issues. I was contacted twice by a female representative of his company and continued to be put off.  In July the female told me that Mr. [redacted] had put aside the first week of September to take care of all of my "issues" but on Thursday of that week I had not heard from Mr. [redacted] so I contacted my attorney who informed me to take pictures of the defects and to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.  If the issues are not resolved I am to contact my attorney for further action.  I am trying to come to an agreement but after ten months of this I do not feel that this proposal is satisfactory.  This investment cost me $28,000 and is not a small matter to me.

Per [redacted] there were a couple of cracks that we needed to fill in and there was salt damage that I had agreed to fix, although we are not responsible for mother nature but still agreed to fix it for Ms. [redacted]. We went over Saturday and took care of those issues....

The only thing left to do is some sealing, which the homeowner just needs to pay us for the sealer and I agreed to take care of the labor at no charge. But I haven’t gotten feedback from the customer about the sealers it’s going to be between $1000.00 and $1300.00 and I need to get the approval to make sure the customer is going to pay for the materials before I purchase them. That’s all I’m waiting on and it should be all taken care of.
