I found a wonderful deal online for a camper, so I went down to sunshine campers and they were extremely helpful and the staff went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate their business two thumbs up for sureAnd definitely will be doing business again with sunshine and let all my family and friends know how great their deals are and how amazing the staff is!!!
We are very pleased with our experience at Suncamper Liquidators! I see a couple people on here are complaining about their deposits not being returnedDuring our experience it was made very clear that if we were not approved for our camper, we would be refunded our deposit but that they would also make every effort in getting us approvedUnfortunately at this time we were unable to get approvedThey said in about months we would be able try again which we definitely will, and we already have our deposit back
We purchased a 2006 Cross Roads travel trailer on X-XX-XX for 11K including tax and fees. The RV was described as having no water damage and fully inspected. We did sign an "As is " agreement feeling the seller was ethical and honest in the description and " walk through". On X-XX-XX we started cleaning the RV in preparation for trip. When we pulled the cushions and removed bench board from the table area we discovered the wall base area to be very wet, bowed with a hole at base. Upon further inspection the entire wall base area of super slide was wet and damaged. We do have images to prove.
We contacted Sun Liquidators on X-XX-XX reporting damage and discussed returning the trailer and upgrading, were asked to call back on Monday which we did. They relunctantley approved us to bring the unit back on Tuesday claiming the had little to no room to put our returned trailer. Once we arrived after a 1.5 hr trip they informed us we would incur a 1,000.00 re stocking fee to get the trailer ready for sale..? Why were we not informed of 1K fee prior to making drive?
This is after having possession for less than 3 days, paying them 70.00 to detail and us spending 2 hrs cleaning, making the unit in better shape than when we bought. They did offer to fix the damage for "around" 200.00 but at this point we lost all faith in this seller. Also we received little to no attention as we shopped for a replacement.
They did let us know they fired two of their inspectors which in our opinion proved negligence . Another trailer was considered, however the loss of 1K plus the âover the high retail â price of replacement trailer made it an even worse buy. Furthermore, why would we want to continue to give them our hard earned Money ?!
In conclusion, buyer beware! If you choose to do business with them we strongly suggest you hire a knowledgeable inspector or obtain a 3 to 5 day grace period on contract!!!! Do not believe anyting they tell you verbally, have everything in writing!
