I have attached the following repair order showing that Sun Chevrolet thoroughly wentthrough Mr [redacted] vehicle during the pre-certification and New York State Inspection process.There is absolutely no way for safety reasons that this vehicle left Sun Chevrolet with a door notworking or closing properlyWe are not sure If the door was shut to hard, or ice or snow mayhave played a role in what happened but the door worked properly when this vehicle left thedealership and did so apparently until Mr [redacted] returned for repairs few days thereafter.Mr [redacted] was charged only a fraction of the repairs as to be fair considering thesituationThe total repair was actually $for labor and $for parts totaling with 8%tax total bill would have been $469.80.We were just was trying to be fair about the situation and charged Mr [redacted] $45.00for labor and $for parts with a 10% discount as weil totaling with tax $213.84.If I can be of further assistance please feel free to reach out to meMy phone number is###-###-####.Thank you.Robert C***

Customer was confused between the Colorado and a GMC Canyon the Colorado has black rimsHe purchased the Canyon and he took delivery on 08/24/Attached is proof that the rims on re Canyon are and always where silver, the customer is now satisfied and driVing the GMC Canyon

I spoke to [redacted] on Monday June 19, He was interested in leasing a New Chevy Traverse, as advertised on the websiteI walked him thru the lease detailsI offered to lease him new Traverse for what was listed on our website 10k per year for months for a payment of $per month, with all the money down as listed the disclaimer page for our leases.Mr [redacted] wanted to do a 12k mile per year lease for the same money down and the same monthly paymentI explained to him that a 12k a year lease would be $a month and require a lot more money downAt no time did we refuse to sell Mr., [redacted] for the advertised price on line! To whom this may concern,
We appreciate the opportunity to address Mr*** *** concerns once more as it t is certainly
never our intentions to provide our customers with products and services which do not meet their expectations and we do apologize for any inconveniences incurred
Both my staff and I have made several attempts to address this issue directly with Mr*** *** over the phone and in person to explaining our position.
As Mr*** *** alleges in his complaint, we did not perform the repair to his fuel pump as indicated nor did we perform any repair in the alleged area of concern. Our repairs were limited to the front engine compartment and an electronic control ignition module. It may be possible that another repair facility may have performed these repairs prior to us receiving his vehicle.
Furthermore, after re-inspecting his vehicle and the damages first hand, they appear to be caused by wear and tear associated with someone loading or unloading goods or cargo in the rear compartment as it has sustained scratches on the top surface of the bumper close to the latch or striker plates and not the vertical face of the bumper. These damages are not consistent with damages caused by vehicle to vehicle contact or by operating the vehicle and striking foreign objects.
Since Mr*** *** did not accompany the vehicle to our facility and it was dropped off by a third party towing company with no one was present during the vehicle drop off there is no absolute way of knowing its overall condition. Our record also indicates the vehicle was too dirty to complete a visual inspection during the check in process and we are also unable to determine what transpired while in the hands of the third party carrier. This is why we suggested Mr*** *** work with his insurance carrier directly for further assistance.
It is our belief that our staff and I have addressed Mr*** *** concerns professionally and timely and are saddened he feels differently. Again, we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

We appreciate the time Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] have taken to express their concerns with their past service...

experience with us.  It is certainly never our intentions to provide our customers with products and services which do not meet their expectations and we do apologize for any inconveniences incurred.
 
It is always our goal to fix our customer’s concerns accurately and timely.  I, along with our customer support staff and technical service team have worked closely with the [redacted]’s since their initial concerns of this alleged rattle noise.  We have diligently attempted to duplicate and identify this noise in question and have made numerous technical inspections and extended road testing of the vehicle without ever hearing an abnormal sound.  Along with this, we have directly involved the [redacted]’s and performing several extensive road tests with Mrs. [redacted] only to have the vehicle operate noise free and as designed by [redacted].  The alleged noise has never been reproduced by us or in the presences of the [redacted]’s. 
 
In July of 2014 we adjusted the left front door glass to correct a streaking condition on the window.  If Mrs. [redacted] feels that this has corrected her concerns in the past then we would be happy to look into it once again and she is welcome to schedule an appointment with our location to do so at her earliest convenience.  This operation is expected take approximately two hours of working time and she is welcome to drop off her car or wait while it’s being repaired. 
 
We encourage the [redacted]’s to coordinate a service visit and road tests when the alleged noise is readily present and during our regular hours of business Monday through Friday when our full technical staff and the technical support of our manufacturer is available.  The appropriate amount of time to fix their vehicle is also appreciated along with making arrangements for alternate transportation if the vehicle requires an extended stay as these services are not provided by us or as part of her New Vehicle Limited Warranty offered by [redacted].
 
It has always been our desire to resolve the [redacted]’s concerns once and for all.  We will continue to honor their New Vehicle Limited Warranty as outlined by [redacted] and repair any identifiable defects in the product or its workmanship.

Review: Unfortunately this is not the first/only complaint I have when it comes to Sun Chevy in McMurray PA. I purchased my old car(Chevy Cruze) from them 3 years ago and I have honestly had nothing but issues when dealing with this dealership. 1. When I first purchased this car my AC stopped working and the service department continually kept informing me that even though I had bought this car literally a week beforehand, and had purchased an extended(bumper-to-bumper)warranty, that I was going to have to pay for everything out of pocket. When it was not an error caused by me. 2. The dealership offered me free yearly inspections if I brought the car back to them. Awesome, right? No! Especially when every time I brought it to them for servicing/inspections they didn't reset one of my censors and I had to bring the car back again. which by the way is about a hour away from me.3. Lastly, thank goodness, I purchased an extended warranty from them when I got the car. Well I recently traded in my car and got a much better one. Well I was informed that I could receive a refund due to the warranty not being completely used. I called Sun Chevy on August 26th about this refund. Well I have yet(today is 9/2) to hear anything about it, so I called again. When I spoke to this so called "manager" named [redacted] he informed me that he remembered me but didn't have time today to do this due to it being the end of the month. What!? I called last week, this should already be done!!!! He was very rude and unprofessional towards me, kept telling me that it's the end of the month and he doesn't have time for this right now. Well maybe if he did his job when I called the first time we wouldn't have this issue. Overall, I'm very very very dissatisfied with Sun Chevy!!! They suck at customer service, they suck at providing refunds when required. Overall they SUCK!!! I've never been so dissatisfied with a company in my life!Desired Settlement: I would like my refund for my bumper-to-bumper warranty, also I believe that because of all the issues I've had with this dealership they should refund me the WHOLE bumper-to-bumper warranty I purchased from them!!!!

in response to complaint ID [redacted] regarding customer [redacted] and her extended warranty refund.

Ms. [redacted] stated that she had to pay for her air conditioning repairs shortly after she purchased the vehicle. We dispute that statement. The repairs were covered under warranty 100% with zero cost to Ms. [redacted]. Upon review of her air vehicle we found the air conditioning system failed due to a manufacture defect so we gladly replaced it under warranty at no cost to Ms. [redacted]

The reset of her tire pressure sensors was completed at the dealership. After she drove the vehicle 20 miles from the dealership the tire monitor service light came on. The vehicle lost the program which is very uncommon. As a courtesy to Ms. [redacted] I contacted the dealership where she told me she was closest to and spoke with their service manager about the concerns with Ms. [redacted]'s tire light. He assured me the vehicle would be taken care of right away with no cost to Ms. [redacted].

Sun Chevrolet does apologize dearly for the rude and uncharacteristic attitude she received from Sun Chevrolet when she contacted us regarding the refund of her extended warranty. We did have our Business Manager contact her and attain all the needed information to process her refund. We have met with all the parties involved and explained the expectations of Sun Chevrolet to our customers and the outstanding service we must provide. We do apologize for the lack of professionalism that she received regarding her refund.

Her refund is being processed retroactive to the date and mileage Ms. [redacted] provided. We consider this matter closed and resolved, Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: My husband and I chose to go to Sun Chevrolet for body work to our car due to a minor accident on 10/26/13. We contacted Sun Chevrolet and had the estimate and contacted the insurance company to file the claim being it was not our fault the other partys insurance was going to pay the repairs. They sent out there adjuster got all the approvals for Sun Chevrolet to proceed to fix our car. We called about two weeks later to see where we were in the repair process on 11/7/13 we were told the car would be done either Friday (11/8/13) or Monday (11/11/13). We had a rental car during this time also so we were okay with that. Well Friday came and went and so did Monday. We called Tuesday 11/12/13 to find out that it would be done later that day or Wednesday (11/13/13). [redacted] then calls us and tells us we have to return the rental by end of day because Sun Chevrolet also told them that our car would be done on Monday 11/11/13 at the latest. So we were inconvenienced again and had to return our Rental on Tuesday 11/12/13. We then Called Sun Chevrolet on Wednesday 11/13/13 to be told once again our car would be done later that day or Thursday, and we were told by the body shop that the headlight assembly that they ordered was wrong, along with they had a person quit on them the week prior to so they were behind. They never apologized for the inconvenience. So we are trying to be understanding of their situation. We called Thursday 11/14/13 at about 11 AM and they said yes we are waiting on the last part that will be here at noon and then to wash it and you can come pick it up. Great! So we agreed to pick up the car at 3:30 PM. I called at 2:30 PM to confirm we are still good to pick up at 3:30 and I was told by [redacted] in the body shop Yep no problem your paperwork is all upfront, and [redacted] would be in a meeting to have [redacted] paged if we had any problems or questions. So we arrive at 3:30PM my husband goes in to the front window gives his name and information, The cashier being [redacted], expects him to have the check from the other parties insurance company he says no they didnt send it to me I believe you should have it. My husband comes out to the car to inform me of this so I go in, and I ask [redacted] okay what is the issue? [redacted] gets an attitude with both of us how she cant release this car without payment and we need to call the insurance. (Now I understand she cant release it without payment, she obviously didnt read the paperwork; this isnt our insurance company we are dealing with) So I Call the other parties insurance company with the claim number while standing in front of [redacted]s cashier window and I am informed that yes they sent to check to Sun Chevrolet on 10/31, I confirmed with her the amount and the address. I inform [redacted] of this. She is so rude to us and says Well I dont have it, and my paperwork says customer has check as she slams the paperwork against the window in my face at this point I am trying to not lose my cool and I tell her I did not leave work early to come down to Sun Chevrolet to be treated like this, She needs to call a manager or something and locate that Check, she tells me she called accounting they are looking for it. Her attitude and customer service was rude, she then comes back that they are bringing down a check, in which it is from the insurance company for our car. Great finally an answer. (although while waiting for accounting to bring down this check she stands there talking to a mechanic bad mouthing my husband and I to him right in front of us as if I cant hear her) I dont think [redacted] should have treated us the way she did, she did not have to be rude and slam the paper against the glass for me to read it, and she did not have to scream at us to read it. She treated us as if we were trying to steal our own car. Not only was this whole experience awful from the gate with them about being late with getting the car done, with the whole wrong part and someone quitting earlier the week before, then we have to go pick it up and deal with her attitude. I am not impressed by Sun Chevrolet at all I will never be a repeat customer there, you could not pay me to go there and get something fixed. I would think that if you talk to a customer and tell them that their vehicle is ready and the paperwork is at the front she could have went through the paperwork prior to us arriving and just double checked or if she read that the customer had the check she could have called us and asked if we had the check and this could have all been avoided. Obviously she lacks training in customer service, and as for the gentleman who quit on them the week before if they treat their employees the way they treat their customers I would have walked off the job also.Desired Settlement: I do not want a replacement, or refund, or anything free I want the Revdex.com to keep this on record and I also want Sun Chevrolet Management Informed. I want this woman who was so rude to us to be addressed with how she treat's customers.

We apologize for the inconvenience our customer faced while her vehicle was in for repairs. Sun Chevrolet has taken the proper steps to council all employees involved with this case to eliminate such circumstances from happening again.
