Amber and Charles S both lied. Amber told me I could get a CD at 4.9% for six months FDIC INSURED. I confirmed this with her when I made the appointment and the day before the appointment, 10-23-19, because I did not want to drive the 30 miles to the office if this rate was not available. Amber said Charles would not be in the office until 1PM. I said “ask him to call me to confirm”. She said she was in training to get an insurance license and Charles did not need to confirm because this rate was available and she could assure me I would get this rate from an online bank.
JUST LIED THROUGH HER TEETH.
AMgoing to file a formal complaint with Revdex.com and contact any and all licensing agents that would approve Amber or S.

I went to SunCities Financial Group and I had a great experience. I wish my bank could get me these high rates but I like Sun Cities more anyway because they really take the time to ask me questions and explain things more throughly. I am a widow and I need more help making decisions. The person I dealt with was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend Sun Cities Financial Group. There also wasn’t any fees or commissions that my bank tried to scare me with about Sun Cities.

A few years ago, I responded to their ad about a CD. I think they stated that they had many banks to deal with. But at the appointment, he only had one, and he said I didn’t qualify since I already had a bank account with that bank, Bank of Internet. Last week, I responded to another of their high interest (4.8%) CD ads and scheduled an appointment with Michael M. But when I saw some very negative reviews on the internet, including that their advertised rates are only on $15,000, I called him back. He stated that this interest rate was not limited to $15,000, because they deal with thousands of banks. (Their ad states $15,000 as the minimum.)
When I went in, he reiterated thousands of banks but immediately started talking about an annuity. I love annuities but sell them to myself, so I switched back to the CD. I turns out that of the thousands of banks, there’s only one that the ad applies to, and that happens to be the same bank from a few years ago, namely Bank of Internet (recently changed its name to Axos Bank), with whom I no longer have an account. But the maximum deposit is $15,000! So their “over 6,000” banks comes down to one, and their minimum $15,000 turns out to be a maximum of $15,000. Total waste of my time!

Sorry to hear you had an unfavorable experience, we would be happy to help you in any way we can. We look at banks for the highest rates and sound financials. There are thousands of banks, and when a client comes in we show them the highest rate we have at that time. We do not show all the bank rates, we show the best or highest. When client comes back in, if we are using the same bank, we will offer an attractive rate to stay in the account, but usually not advertised rate. We and the bank want our customers coming back. The banks objective is to gather customers, we don’t tell them “they don’t qualify anymore or they can’t make a deposit.” Several banks have different minimums and maximums, but we can guarantee a $15,000 deposit as our Ad states. The Customer was shown the highest bank rate we had the day he came in to the office, which was the advertised rate. Sometimes we find higher rates than advertised, maybe with a different or same term and we offer these rates to our customers when they come in.

Absolutely false advertising. They put ads in the paper stating high interest rates just to get you to come into the office. The high interest rates are only for the amount of $15,000. Anything over that is a low rate. Once they get you
in the office they try to sell you an annuity. All of the reviews stating this is
a scam are correct. Don't do business with these people.

Sorry for you experience. We strive to provide the best customer service along with the best guaranteed and insured rates available. We shop over 5000 banks looking for the highest rates along with the terms the customer is looking for. The interest rate we advertise is always available and sometimes we have higher rates available. Each bank has its own min and max. If your deposit doesn't match the bank we try to offer additional banks or institutions to meet that deposit. We are generally able to provide higher rates than are available locally. Being we don't know all the min and max of every bank, we state in the advertisement 15k deposit required certain restrictions may apply. if any additional information is needed please contact us.

In addition to what I wrote about my experience with this Sun City in Oak Brook, Il is that I had to give them my S.S along with all my personal information. I also put those twice online when I tried but not successfully to access my account with Axos bank ( the only way they operate is online) I was requested to type online my S.S. and the other personal information which made me very uneasy so I'm worried what it may happened with my personal information online also with this Sun City financial group which didn't give me any disclosures of their policy.

I have had three transaction dealings with Sun City Financial. Each time I have been very satisfied and received the bonus promised. There was no high pressure and I found the woman I worked with to be very business like, knowledgeable and pleasant.

I had a productive meeting at their office and signed up with BofI. I received my bonus on time and was pleased with my transaction. This was over a year ago but I wanted to make sure there WAS a positive review. I saw some that weren't.

I obtained a CD from Sun Cities Financial in Sun City, AZ. in May 2017. I was supposed to receive a "bonus" check from SCFG in July 2017. I have not received the check. I contacted the office by phone-once leaving a message with the receptionist and the second time leaving a message on voice mail-asking for someone to call me back. I did not receive any call. I then sent an e-mail through the contact portal on their web-site again asking for a call. I have not heard back form them. Poor customer service? Or just a scam? I recommend you not do business with this company.
