I bought a vehicle from this company 01/15/14 and everything was fine they gaved me a 45 day permit and told me they would call me when the plates were ready. They also asked me if I wanted the personalized plates and I said yes.My permit was about to expire in a couple of days so I gaved them a call and asked them if my plates were ready. The receptionist told me that the person who was working on that was going to give me a call back and she never did. I kept calling multiple times and it was the same story [redacted] the "manager" was not there and she was the only one that could help me blah blah blah.Fianally,a day before my permit expired I decided to go over there and confront them. I asked for my plates and they didnt know what to tell me.They finally told me that they had not even done emissions on the car!!!!! I was absolutely furious! Is that even legal for them to let me drive off the lot without doing the emissions on the car?? So I had to take it to do emissions I had to pay the money out of MY OWN pocket.I went back to the dealer gaved them the emissions paper they told me they would take care of the rest get the plates.A week later still no plates I called them and bugged them forever next day they finally gaved me the dam plates and they were not the ones that they had promised me!! Worst experience ever I do not recommend this dealer to anyone!

On 1/3112015, our customer [redacted] came in and purchased a [redacted] from us. She test drove the vehicle and loved it. It was in good driving condition, the only issue was that it needed an alignment which we did the following day. She was really happy with the vehicle. A month had passed and we got a phone call from a lady that said that there was a car parked in front of her house for the past 3 days, she believed it was stolen because no one had tried to pick it up and she went to go look at the plate and saw that Sun City Cars was the seller so she decided to call us to notify us. When we ran the VIN we realized it was [redacted] car, we called her to notifY her about the situation but her number was disconnected. I reminded the customer that she had purchased a 1 year warranty with a A.U.L. and she was able to call the company and request a mechanic so they can check her car. She was really happy about that but said that if we could check her car anyway. We asked her if she could have the car towed to the mechanic shop behind our lot which she agreed. About 2 days passed and [redacted] showed up to tell us that she had towed the car to her house. I asked her why she didn't tow the car to the shop and she said she didn'thave enough money for that, but I told her that her warranty would have covered it.I went to the mechanic shop with Candace to talk to the mechanic, the mechanic agreed to drive to her house to check what was wrong with her car. We asked her why she didn't have a key and she said she had gotten into an argument with her baby's father, he took her car and the key one day and he didn't want to give the key back to her. I told [redacted] we were going to be unable to check her vehicle without a key and to call us when she had the key made so we can go check it out. [redacted] never called us back. When I tried calling her to ask her if she still needed the mechanic to go look at her car, her number was still disconnected and we never received a new one. l assumed she called her warranty and got her car fixed. [redacted] failed to make a payment to her financial institution. 1. She knew on plates, she only had a deposit, and will only be one cycle.2. She got repossessed by financial institution.  3. She agreed money is non-refundable.  We take our sales very serious, we respect, and explain all paperwork and documents before releasing the vehicle. This complaint is invalid.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I purchased a vehicle with sun city cars, the vehicle was not in driving conditions which they told me the car just needed to be alligned, I beleive 2 weeks later I took the vehicle to have that done and I went to the shop they told me to go, the mechanice checked the front tires and said I was very lucky to be  alive, because the car was not in driving conditions they replaced the bolt which was lose and I could of had an accident that really scared me because I had went to las vegas with my children and drove the vehicle not knowing there was more to be done to the vehicle.. secondly, they gave me a temporary tag when I purchased the vehicle dated 3/16/2014 until my new plates come in with my new registration, they called me on 3/18/2014 stating they have received my plates, I went to pick them up at dealership and noticed the plates and registration where already expired with a date of 3/15/2014? now to me that does not make sense at all, I have gotten other vehicles in the past and they always took care of my plates and registration the right way.. so I asked them why my plates are already expired? [redacted] at sun city cars said they prorated my registration which I dont undertand what that means, I reached out to the finance company BHFC and they said sun city cars is responsible for there customers registration to be done the right way..I dont agree why I have to pay $350 out of my pocket to re-register the vehicle when I put $2000 down, the vehicle is with sun city cars all I want is my money back, I will never recommend them to no one, its not fair that they keep my car and my money then try to sell it again... now Im taking the bus to work and walking my children to school its been very hard, Ive been to the hospital 4 times last month, due to this stressful situation.. Im a single mother with 3 children and I feel I was taken advantage them knowing I needed a vehicle right away.

Bought a used car here with guarantee that all issues with car would be fixed before purchase. Fast forward a week after purchase and the check engine light appeared and had the car taken in for repairs and maintained. They have given me the runaround many of times. I have had to take the car for the same issue and more with nothing getting resolved. The last time I had my car there they took a week with it to tell me they hadn't started even working on it and then tried to blame the insurance company. They however did not know I had already spoken to the insurance agent and the agent had told me there was no claim. These people are scammers. When I received my car back after that incident they broke my car'so antenna, and refuse to fix it because I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere as advised by the insurance agent. Do not reccommend these people to anyone. They prey on the Hispanic community, which is a shame because all the employees there are Hispanic. Their customer service skills are far below mediocre. They speak to their customers as if we were below them, and when confronted they act dumbfounded. Do not recommend.

Review: I had purchased a vehicle wih them and the gave me a temporary plate that expired 3/16/2014, I was pulled over by the police and they impounded my car for exp temp plates, then I recieved my new plates the next day with an expiration of 3/15/2014? that does not make sense to me at all... sun city cars said they pro-rated my plates, I was under the impression when you purchase a vehicle everything should be taken care of, now theres a fee of $150 for towing company, a fee for new registration $330 and now my car payment is due $380 I dont have that money right now, and I dont think I need to pay for my new regisration when they should of taken care of it... I want to cancel the deal and get my $2000 down payment they said they are not giving me my money back..Desired Settlement: my desired outcome would like for them to refund me my $2000 Im a single mother of 3 kids and it was not right how the proceeded with my contract

NOW THEIR FINANCE COMPANY STATED THAT I WAS GOING TO OWE 11K WHEN THE VEHICLE BLUE BOOK IS 7465.00 AND I WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO PAY MY PAYMENT BUT IS WAS NOT EVEN DUE YET, THEIR FINANCE COMPANY STATED THAT THE DEALERSHIP NEVER LET THEM KNOW AND TO DEAL WITH THEM BUUUUT THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY A DESK INSIDE OF AN OFFICE CALED BHFC FINANCIAL SO I AM OUT OF MY TAX RETURN AND FIRST MONTH PAYMENT OF 400.00 THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF YOUNG BUYERS LIKE ME IM 23 JUST TO TAKE THEIR MONEY AND THEM HIT THEM WITH THE FULL BALANCE OF WHAT THE CAR IS NOT EVEN WORTH PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY I WOULD HATE TO SEE ANOTHER YOUNG INEXPERIENCED PERSON GO THROUGH THIS THIS COMPANY AND THEIR FINANCE COMPANY ARE FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!Desired Settlement: I WISH TO HAVE MY VEHICLE BACK AS PROMISED OR THE VEHICLE NOT REPORTED TO THE CREDIT BUREAU AND I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF IT SINCE I ONLY HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS

Review: I bought a 2007 Dodge Caliber RT from Sunny City Auto in Avondale, Az. On 08/2015. I've had multiple problems with the vehicle. Within the first 2 months the break light, AWS and AWD light came on which cost me over $400 to get fixed and after that the wheel barrings needed replacing and that was $600. Now I have an in going problem with my a/c has a horrible noise that comes on when you turn the ac on. Also my passenger window motor went out. I went to complain to the dealership and I was told I couldn't trade it for another vehicle. I'm under a 4 year contract and I want out. I need help and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit back and the money that I have paid into the car ( my monthly car payment) and nothing on my credit report. Or to be able to change cars

Review: We bought a car Feb 22. 2014 and we agreed on purchase the problems we have with car will be fixed. We had check light engine come on, gas was not keep car after we left lot, tires did not fit car and was rubbing, we have some kind of leak coolant or power steeling still not sure what it is not fixed. I called a week ago because I did not recieve my tags a plates. They kept telling me it should be there by time my tag expired. I kept calling because I need to see if they would mail me plates, and they kept saying there boss Jose is busy and they will call me back every day for a week. This tuesday 4/1/14 the finally informed me that the emissions test was never done and I need to have it done. I go and try to get it done and I I cant because the DLC is loose (now it feel completely off). My concern is they unhooked it to shut us up about check enegine light and after they hook up and get emissions done on it that that light will come back on and we will have a engine problemDesired Settlement: I want either the total amount of car reduced, with everything fixed including the dvd player that does not work. Or a refund
