RLC Services was assigned to our AC Claim by [redacted] First of all, they took about a week to come out and diagnose our problem RLC sent a young inexperienced Technician who collected their service call fee of $100.00, then diagnosed our not working AC to a problem with one of the dampers The RLC Technician said that he would rig the damper to stay open so that we could keep our house cool for a short time Of course, [redacted] denied our claim since the dampers are part of the ducts and not the AC So I had another local AC service that a friend recommended to me to come out to replace the damper, but by the time they came out the AC was not cooling throughout the whole house They checked all dampers and found no problems with the dampers and that they were all in good working order They also never found anything that would look like the RLC Technician rigged the damper to stay open But what they did find was a bad capacitor on the outside unitAfter replacing the capacitor, they checked the Freon level and it was low They checked for leaks and found that the evaporator coil in the attic had a leak The leak is not repairable and the coil will need to be replaced Apparently, the RLC Technician didn't even bother to check the level of Freon RLC Technicians are either inexperienced or incapable or they are looking out for the best interest of [redacted] by giving a diagnosis that would benefit their pocket book and not the consumer Sad!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me Sent: Sunday, August 13, 11:AMSubject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint # [redacted] This letter is to inform you that RLC was able to get in contact with me and provide services for the price that was initially agreed to.Thank you, [redacted]

My home warranty sent this company out a month agoThey said my A/C had no issuesI hired a private company and paid for it myself they said you definitely have a leak RLC comes back when of course the AC stopped cooling and said I needed an air handlerThis was after weeks of me trying to track them down to find out the resolutionThey never did call me back I had to continually contact themFinally they tell me the air handler will be replaced at 11amThey show up and leave (according to their office to go complete another install) with my guest left in a hot homeThey come back and say they will get it finished only to tell my property manager they somehow ordered the wrong part, will have to reinstall my old part and oh wait....they'll let me know when it comes inThis is not happenstance, there are several similar complaints of the exact same thing happening dating all the way back to DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

A service representative of RLC services was sent by my Home Warranty company to my home to diagnose the issue with my home central air-conditioner, which suddenly lost its cooling efficiecy a few days agoThe representative first told me the freon was low after checking the condenser, then he checked the air handler and told me the cooling coil was leakingThen he told me that my condenser had a too big capacity for my air-handler, which he called it as a mismatched systemI then told him about there was water dripping from one of the insulated linesHe told me because the chilled pipe inside was freezing, which actually contradicts his diagnoses about condenser being too bigThen I asked him, whether he could charge the freon, now that the level is already low, I can use the a/C for the time between his service today and the future fix of my system, but he refusedThe services representative knew full well that by diagnosing a "mismatched" system, it would not be covered by the home warranty, so that he can just get paid for his service call for a 10-minute effortand don't have do anything moreWhen I called the office pointing out the technician's conclusion might be wrong, the answer by the office manager was "I don't care"

I had used this company to service my AC/heating every year, twice a year for 5-yearsI last used their services for heating maintenance in January 2017, in which I was provided a diagnostic to clean the blower wheel and a recommendation for a moisture trap for $The price for the blower wheel wasn't listed on the invoice, but was told the price by the technician for $I called in June to confirm since I knew I was going to be scheduling the AC service, and could have them do the blower wheel at the timeI was told by Vanessa also it would cost $When I called to schedule the service this past weekend, the gentleman that came out first was disputing the regular maintenance price, which is the same price I have always paid, twice a year and showed him my receiptHe called dispatch to complain about the price(so I am now guessing they don't have a set price)The dispatch told him to honor the price I normally have paid and what was on the receiptI proceeded to ask if he

Luis and his techs are awesomeOur A/C stopped working and our home warranty company dispatched RLC ServicesMy husband is recovering from his 5th foot and leg surgery and on IV AntibioticsHe can't tolerate the heatRLC came out on a SATURDAY, but needed a specific part and the tech said he would be back on SUNDAY!!!!!!! to fixThey called on Sunday to let us know that they couldn't get the part needed until Monday, but Luis came to our house with a temporary work around to get the AC running for my husband until the work could be done with the correct parts the next dayWords can not express how much we appreciated what he did for usWe would recommend RLC Services to anybody who needed A/C or Heating work doneThey are outstanding example of service and business integrity from the office staff to the techs, the entire companyThanks again
