Review: I had a three season room and deck built on my home. I have issues with several things - namely - there is a hand sized hole in my patio door that has been there since October; the mortar on my stones is not completed; the roof still shows insulation and needs to be sealed; there are stones in my wall that have no mortar on them; plus, in digging the footers for my room - they dumped rocks and dirt in my neighbor's field. I've been asking for them to clean that up since September 4. The project manager was going to send someone out on Nov 5 to make the repairs and clean up the field but no one showed up. Now no one will call me back. In addition, they had my electrician come 4 times when he wasn't needed which cost me considerable additional fees. Also, [redacted] promised me that I would love the steps. There is a landing outside of the room which is 8 inches lower than the room - it's a difficult step to make. The steps they build were wooden boxes with aluminum on the top. We have agreed that he could put aluminum around the entire step so that the steps would not look temporary. Finally, the building inspector has said that the steps off the deck are 1/4 inche too high and need to be lowered before he will approve the project. I sent a letter requesting the changes on October 18. The room was contracted to be finished by September 10. Still nothing has happened. The owner called me Saturday November 8. I have called him back 5 times since then and he has not returned any of my calls.Desired Settlement: I need this job to be finished. I am still holding $3800 (10%) back of the project. If the project is finished to my satisfaction as was promised over and over by [redacted], then we can settle up. I don't think it's fair that he receive the full $3800 because of the loss of the use of the room for the Autumn and the extra electrician fees and frankly the sheer frustration that it has been to work with them. I would settle for paying him $2000 if the room is finished and the field is cleaned up or he gives me a hold harmless letter if I am sued over the dirt and stones that they put in my neighbors field. Since it has now SNOWED, it will be more difficult for him to clean up the field. I'm concerned that I will be sued by this field owner over the actions of Sun Comfort, Inc.
