On November 10, 2015, Sun Estates received a call from the owner of unit ***, Mr [redacted] [redacted] , the managing agent for [redacted] called the owner to ask if his unit received any water damage because unit [redacted] has a leak in the bathroom I told the owner that the Mr [redacted] had not called Sun Estates to report any water intrusion and I would try to contact him I called and left a voice mail on both phone numbers we have on file November 11, 2015, Mr [redacted] returned my callI asked him if he had an water leaks coming from above in his unit He said he didn't see any water but he did see some black spots on his ceiling I also asked if there were any water stains on the ceiling & he said noI called [redacted] & they said they would send [redacted] Hawaii to extract any water & dry the walls I gave them Mr [redacted] s contact informationNovember 13, 2015, [redacted] called Sun Estates & informed me that [redacted] Hawaii went to the unit [redacted] to extract & dry any affected areas [redacted] Hawaii also said that they found some pre-existing water damage in the bedroom next to the bathroom I told [redacted] that the tenant did not report any prior water leaks November 16, 2015, Mr [redacted] called concerned about the air quality in his unit I told him I would send someone to to check the damage in the unit November 18, 2015, [redacted] would contact Mr [redacted] and schedule an appointment Vendor left voice mails for Mr [redacted] to return call to schedule an appointment I will assume that sometime between 11/18/- 11/23/the vendor was able to contact Mr [redacted] & view the unit I don't know the schedules of the tenant or vendor & do not know when the parties were able to set an agreeable appointment November 23, (am hours), [redacted] contacted Sun Estates with job description Remove damaged drywall & carpet in bedroom & installing new drywall & carpet The bathroom wall above shower [redacted] be patched & repaired November 23, (pm hours), I received via Certified mail a complaint from Mr [redacted] dated November 19, requesting the damages be repaired in the unit The vendor had already been in the unit & contacted me about the repairs November - November 30, 2015, I will assume an appointment was made between the vendor & Mr [redacted] to begin repairs As previously mentioned, I have no control on either parties schedule December 1, (am hours), I called [redacted] because I'm still waiting for contact information for the owners of unit *** I left a voice mail [redacted] sent Sun Estates Photos of unit [redacted] damages I spoke to the vendor & he [redacted] start the bedroom repairs today but the bathroom is a larger job than previously stated I did not know until this phone call that an appointment with Mr [redacted] had been made I told the vendor to not do anything yet because I still have not heard from [redacted] & the owner of [redacted] contact information Mr [redacted] then called Sun Estates and was very upset that I wasn't doing anything I did inform him that I'm still waiting for the insurance & owner information from [redacted] He was upset that he took the day off from work & the job could not be started He also stated that he would file a complaint December 1, (pm hours), I called [redacted] again The new property manager [redacted] will call me back No responseDecember 2, 2015, I called [redacted] again and spoke to Mr [redacted] , he said they have been trying to contact the homeowner & tenant of the unit ***, but no response from either parties I let him know that my tenant was very upset because the repairs have not been started He advised me to remediate for now, forward him any bills & he would send the to [redacted] AOAO & bill the owner of unit *** Mr [redacted] gave me the owner information (overseas military address) I then contacted Mr [redacted] Mr [redacted] contacted [redacted] his insurance company & they would contact him or Sun Estates I contacted [redacted] to begin the work in the bedroom The vendor contacted Mr [redacted] & left a voice mail December 4, 2015, The vendor contacted Sun Estates to inform me that the carpet & drywall repair in the bedroom had been completedHe will bring the invoice for the bedroom repairs & the quote for the bathroom to Sun Estates [redacted] Claims contacted the owner of the unit & they were told to contact Sun Estates Spoke to [redacted] from [redacted] assistant for [redacted] I reported the damages & they said to send them any photos & quotes I was also assigned a claim number I sent the photos, invoice & quote to ***December 7, 2015, I called the owner to ask if he heard anything from the insurance companyI let him know that I sent the invoices & photos to *** The owner said he spoke to [redacted] on Friday & he knew what the cost of the damages were I said I would contact [redacted] again & asked if we could proceed with the repairsDecember 8, , I received an email form [redacted] stating that they did not receive my emails I resent them & received a response that said they would work on my claimAll of the above was done and we are unable to complete the bathtub repair until the insurance company approves the quote for repairThere are various steps that we must take and we are not avoiding the tenant or his requests until then [redacted] * [redacted] Sun Estates

There are various steps that we must take and we are not avoiding the tenant or his requests until then.
