Sun Credit

This business has acquired my phone number through one of their customers that apparently used me as a reference to obtain a loan. This customer has decided to not pay their bill. Sun credit calls me everyday, sometimes twice a day regarding an outstanding balance for someone that I am not even on speaking terms with. I have asked them to stop calling me, I have requested a cease and desist, I have even told them that I am no longer associated with their customer. Yet, they continue to harass me everyday regarding an unpaid balance that I have no responsibility for. Please help stop these unsavory and harassing business practices.Desired SettlementI want it to be public record that they are harassing references of customers that never gave permission to be used as a references in the first place. As I am sure you can understand, when a consumer does not adhere to their agreed upon payment schedule, collection activity must begin. She will not be receiving any furthe telephone calls from our office.

I was threatened today by Sun Credit that they would start calling my part time job and references everyday!I was called today, July 29, 2015 by Sun Credit, 1049 N. Carson City, NV, for a loan payment due on July 25th of $158. I was threatened that if I did not bring payment TODAY, that they would start calling my part time job and references, daily! I tried to reason with them that I could bring in money, but I could not pay the $158. I was told No, that it had to be in the full amount. This is the first time I have been late in making monthly payments. If they start calling my job I will be fired. I tried to negotiate with them a lower payment amount, and again I was told by Sun Credit, NO. Sun Credit has repeatly called me solicited Me to increase a loan that I can not pay. I am a Senior citizen and have a limited income. My main concern is their collection practices and the threats. I am willing to pay my loan, but not the large payments they want. And them calling my references daily. This is not right! Sun Credit phone number is 775 882-9554. Desired SettlementAuthorize lower monthly payment that I can afford and don't solicit me anymore to increase a loan that I can't afford, and do not call my job or references. Business Response As you know there are two sides to every story. When a consumer does not adhere to their contracted payment terms, obviously collection calls must begin. However, it is never our intent to make a consumer feel threatened in any fashion. With this in mind, please be advised that we have marked the account card of [redacted] so that she will receive no further calls from us.Naturally we would like the full payment be made each month, however; at this time we have not received even a partial payment.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I am satisfied with the response.
