Complaint[redacted] provides verbal quotes and his scope of work will differ from the verbal promises. Claims that he will manage projects and never there.[redacted] was paid to do a job at my home. The scope of work did not change from the original discussion at all. The scope of work was to extend the roof on my home, replace the roof, build a front porch with railing, replace gutters, paint home and stone the exterior of the fireplace. His work was never completed and the work that was done started falling apart after 7 months. He uses illegal labor and only acts as a sub (which differs from the promises he makes initially). He has been told of the problems that were existing and after making a number of promises that fell short, we have decided to move forward with hiring a reliable company to fix his poor quality work. This business does this to all of the clients it does work for. Mr. [redacted] was paid in full (based upon the quote he provided) so his response that I wanted a final product for pennies is insulting and wrong. This contractor is not telling the truth and the complaint should be posted so that other potential clients can know what to expect. Mr. [redacted] will be getting sued from myself and other clients in the very near future.

Failure to meet contract obligations misrepresentation of credentials poor workmanship/negligenceSun Hardscapiing was contracted to complete a Master Bath remodel for us. The contract included removal of existing bath, and completion of new bath. The contractor was responsible for Electric,Plumbing,installation of lights, bath, vanities,tile, shower, paint and trim work along with the removal of all debris. The Job completion date was three weeks. its was been over three months. [redacted] the owner left his Sub contractors with no supervision and left me to deal with his subs on my own. His workers damaged my new bath and shower,they installed my bathtub with no circuit board,stepped on and shattered my shower main control board. left garbage in my front yard and craw space. After three months of waiting for his workers and him to show up and repair the damages his subs said they would not come back because he was not paying them. I had to hire a new contractor. The new contractor has had to remove the tile, bathtub, cabinets, and redo all the painting. Anything he did had to been redone leaving me to pay twice for the work, and replace the damaged materials. [redacted] presented his company as a registered NC corporation. After doing a search with the secretary of state Sun Hardscaping is not a registered company. He is also not insured as presented. Desired SettlementI requested he pay me the deposit he received. Though the replacement and repair was far more.
