In business school, this would be an example of how to do it the right way. Received a visit and a quote within 24 hours that included expert advice. Work was completed the day after I authorized it. Workers arrived on time; tree was trimmed and I was asked if it was to my satisfaction (yes and some!). Brush was cleaned up so as to not leave a trace of what had occurred. Every person with whom I had contact was professional and courteous. A pleasant experience from start to finish.

I had a problem with our large maple tree, and by large I mean really large, with a trunk diameter on 80cmOne third of the trunk has partially split offSince the maple is the main feature of our acre garden we wanted to save it have turned to Ottawa Tree Surgeons for helpThe tree trully needed surgery, so Tree Surgeons was a logical choice
My experience could not have been better:
- The estimator showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and went over available options
- We booked the service and a crew of four came over to do the work, bringing a large truck with woodchipper etc
- The job was complex and included bracing the trunk, pruning several large branches, and installing cables to prevent splitting
- All work was done manually since there was no access due to septic tank
- I had three certified arborists working on the tree

They were recommended to us by a friend. Our maple tree was sick. Their consultation was very professional as was the service -- they were a swift team, done in under an hour, and they cleaned up all the mess afterwards. And now, Miss Maple is perky, airy, and beautiful.

I highly recommend this company. As well we would definitely contact them for future work.

Ottawa Tree Surgeons is an excellent company to work with. They respond rapidly, provide clear advice and are extremely conscientious in their work. They arrived when they said they would and took excellent care of my yard and the street. They were kind and responsive to my neighbours as well as to me. Their prices are very competitive.
