My wife uses a generic medication for her back pain that is produced by Sun Pharmaceuticals When she went to get the prescription refilled, she was told by our pharmacy that the medication that she needed, "was on manufacturer's back order" and would not be available in the required time frame I called the Sun Pharmaceuticals customer service number and was told that the information was correct I was given an apology and a whole raft of excuses, but no access to the medication
I suggested that perhaps the customer service representative could give me the home telephone number of the president of Sun Pharmaceuticals so that he could listen to my wife scream in pain after she finishes the last of her existing pills The customer service representative did not think it a good idea
Sun has run Lupin out of this marketplace The Par generic version of the product does not work for my wife Because the generic version is said to be available in the marketplace, our insurance company requires that the brand name version receive prior approval and our co-payment is $90/month Their process takes hours My wife has only hours worth of pills
